    • Mookie Betts leaves game after hit by pitch Sunday
Mookie Betts was removed from Sunday’s battle against the Royals after being hit in the left hand/wrist area by a 98 mph fastball.

Advice: The 31-year-old superstar was in obvious pain afterwards and the Dodgers immediately made the call to replace him with pinch-runner Miguel Rojas. He’ll head for X-rays to see if there’s any structural damage. All fantasy managers can do now is wait and hope for the best. The Dodgers should have an update on his status shortly. • Homers, drives in five
Alonso went 2-for-5 with a home run and five RBI in Sunday's 11-6 win over the Padres.

Advice: With two men on in the first inning, Alonso took Dylan Cease deep for this 15th homer this season. He later added a two-run single as part of a four-run eighth to give him a season-high five RBI for the game. This one had to feel good for Alonso, as he broke out of a small slump where he had only five hits and one RBI over his last eight games. The 29-year-old's 15 home runs are tied for fifth most in the National League. He'll carry a .232/.310/.461 slash line into their next series vs the Rangers. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 2:38 pm
    • Pete Alonso paces Mets with five RBI
Pete Alonso went 2-for-5 with a home run and five RBI in the Mets’ 11-6 win over the Padres on Sunday.

Advice: Alonso needed a game like this after a rough few weeks. The five RBI matched his total for the entire month of June entering play Sunday and ninth time in his career he’s driven in at least five runs in a single game. The Mets seem to finally be comfortable with their new lineup configuration with Alonso hitting clean-up behind Francisco Lindor, Brandon Nimmo, and J.D. Martinez so there will likely be many more opportunities for him to drive in runs. Rotoworld Yesterday, 2:15 pm
    • Hurls seven no-hit innings
Blanco (7-2) got the win Sunday vs the Tigers. He did not allow a run or a hit in seven innings while walking three and striking out eight.

Advice: Blanco flirted with his second no-hitter of the season, but his elevated pitch count forced him out of the game after seven frames, and the bullpen would give up a hit the next inning. The 30-year-old righty mowed through the Tigers lineup by registering eight strikeouts in another impressive showing. Blanco lowered his ERA to 2.43, and he became the eighth pitcher since 1900 to have multiple games of seven innings and zero hits allowed in single season. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 1:44 pm

    • Kwan has four-hit game in loss to Jays Sunday
Steven Kwan went 4-for-5 with one RBI against the Blue Jays on Sunday.

Advice: Kwan is hitting a ridiculous .398 on the season now. It’s probably not sustainable as his BABIP is .418 compared to his career .320 BABIP, but Kwan benefits from his low seven percent strikeout percentage. He’s going to put the ball in play a lot and right now everything is finding a hole.

    • Ryan Helsley nabs league-leading 24th save
Ryan Helsley closed out the Cubs on Sunday. He struck out one, walked two, and stranded both runners on base.

Advice: Helsley got into some trouble in the ninth inning and was bailed out by Brendan Donovan who made a catch crashing into the ivy at Wrigley Field to end the game. Helsley is fully back to being one of the best closers in baseball after an injury-marred 2023 season. Rotoworld Yesterday, 1:06 pm
    • Two doubles, stolen base in win
McMahon went 2-for-5 with two doubles, an RBI, two runs scored and a stolen base in Saturday's 16-4 win over the Pirates.

Advice: McMahon doubled in his third trip to the plate and advanced to third on a sacrifice fly before stealing home to increase Colorado's lead to five runs. The third baseman would add an RBI double in the eighth, giving him his sixth extra-base hit over his last four games. McMahon has also recorded multiple hits and scored two runs in three of his last four contests. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 8:33 am

    • Ronel Blanco starting Sunday against Tigers
Ronel Blanco will start Sunday’s game against the Tigers.

Advice: There was talk that Blanco would get some extra rest before making his next outing, but the right-hander will work on regular rest for the finale against Detroit. Assuming the rotation stays the same after this start, his next outing would come against the Orioles. Rotoworld Yesterday, 8:31 am

    • Drawing start Sunday
Blanco will start Sunday's game against the Tigers, Brian McTaggart of MLB.com reports.

Advice: Heading into the weekend, Blanco wasn't expected to make a start against the Tigers, but he ended up getting pushed up in the pitching schedule after Justin Verlander had his turn in the rotation skipped due to a neck injury. As a result of the change in the pitching schedule, Blanco no longer lines up for two starts during the upcoming week. After Sunday's outing, the right-hander is on track to make his next start next weekend versus the Orioles in Houston. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 8:12 am
