  • Jonathan India stays hot with two more hits in loss
Jonathan India went 2-for-4 with an RBI double on Wednesday in the Reds’ loss to the Pirates.

Advice: India was responsible for manufacturing Cincinnati’s lone extra-base hit and run of the contest on Wednesday afternoon as they were unable to solve Luis Ortiz over six frames to open the game before relievers Kyle Nicolas and Aroldis Chapman came out of the bullpen to slam the door. It’s flown a bit under the radar, but India is playing some of the best ball of his career at the moment, batting .365 (35-for-96) with three homers, 20 RBI and four steals over his last 30 games. • Scores three times, swipes bag
Stott went 1-for-3 with a double, three runs scored, a stolen base and a walk in Wednesday's 6-2 win over the Tigers.

Advice: Stott came around to score every time he reached base in Wednesday's win. The three runs tied a career high, and he added his 20th stolen base of the season. His 20 swipes are the third most stolen bases in the National League behind Elly De La Cruz and Brice Turang. Stott's slash line of .242/.337/.363 isn't overly impressive, but he makes up for it with the solid counting stats. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 1:37 pm
  • Leaves with apparent injury
Ortiz was removed from Wednesday's game versus the Rangers in the bottom of the sixth inning with an apparent injury, Adam McCalvy of MLB.com reports. He went hitless in two at-bats before leaving the game.

Advice: Ortiz ran into the tarp while chasing after a pop-up in the top of the sixth, and though he initially stayed in the game, he was lifted in favor of a pinch hitter in the bottom of the frame. It's not clear yet what injury Ortiz might be dealing with, but the Brewers should offer more clarity soon. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 1:03 pm
  • Joey Ortiz exits with apparent injury
Joey Ortiz left Wednesday’s game in the sixth inning with an apparent injury.

Advice: Ortiz might have gotten hurt running into the tarp while running after a foul ball. He finished the half-inning, but Andruw Monasterio then pinch-hit for him. Rotoworld Yesterday, 12:55 pm
  • Bryson Stott scores three times in win over Tigers
Bryson Stott doubled, walked, stole a base and scored three runs on Wednesday afternoon as the Phillies triumphed over the Tigers.

Advice: Stott started the fourth inning by working Keider Montero for a walk and then rode home on Brandon Marsh’s two-run blast. He then doubled the following inning and scored on a two-run single off the bat of Marsh. Stott also reached on a fielder’s choice in the eighth, swiped second base and scored on a sacrifice fly by David Dahl. The 26-year-old second baseman finished the afternoon 1-for-3 and is now slashing .242/.337/.363 to go along with five homers, 36 RBI and 20 stolen bases on the season. Rotoworld Yesterday, 12:42 pm
  • Picking up fifth straight start
Solano will start at first base and bat second in Wednesday's game against the Nationals.

Advice: Solano will crack the starting nine for the fifth game in a row. The Padres are facing a left-hander (DJ Herz) for a third straight game, but San Diego could have room for both Solano and the lefty-hitting David Peralta in the regular lineup against right-handed pitching after Fernando Tatis' (quadricep) move to the injured list Monday opened up a spot. Since getting a call-up from Triple-A El Paso in early May, Solano is slashing .284/.354/.405 with three home runs and 15 RBI over 130 plate appearances. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 12:26 pm
  • Getting afternoon off
Arraez is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Nationals.

Advice: Arraez will get a breather for the day game after a night game, hitting the bench for the first time since June 3. Jurickson Profar will move into Arraez's usual spot atop the lineup for the series finale with Washington. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 12:21 pm
  • Takes batting practice Wednesday
Bogaerts (shoulder) took batting practice on the field Wednesday, AJ Cassavell of MLB.com reports.

Advice: The Padres haven't divulged a potential timeline for Bogaerts' return from the 10-day injured list, but his ability to take on-field BP for the first time since suffering a fracture in his left shoulder in late May represents a major milestone in the recovery process. A clearer target date for Bogaerts' return could come into focus in the next few weeks once he resumes running and taking reps in the infield. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 11:22 am
  • Tyler Black on bench for third straight day
Tyler Black is on the bench for a third straight game Wednesday against the Rangers.

Advice: It was expected that Black would sit versus a lefty last night, but two of these three games have been against righties, and the Brewers picked Jake Bauers over him today. Black is 3-for-11 with three walks since being recalled Thursday. Rotoworld Yesterday, 10:34 am
