    Advice: The star shortstop kicked things off for Cincinnati with an RBI triple in the first inning to score Jonathan India. De la Cruz would then add another two singles in the contest, giving him his fifth three-hit performance this month and third in his last six games. Over that latter stretch he's batting .464 (13-for-28) with two homers, four RBI and seven runs scored.     Steer went 2-for-5 with a double, a two-run homer and two runs scored in Thursday's win over the Cardinals.

    Advice: Steer hit a leadoff double in the third inning before coming around to score Cincinnati's third run of the contest, adding a two-run shot off Miles Mikolas in the following frame. The 26-year-old has recorded multiple hits in three of his last four games, tallying six RBI over that stretch. Steer's batting .286 in June with four homers, 16 RBI and 11 runs scored.   • India stays red hot with two-hit game Thursday
    Jonathan India went 2-for-4 with a run scored, a double and an RBI against the Cardinals on Thursday.



    Advice: India started the game with a single and scored on Elly De La Cruz’s RBI triple. In the second inning, he had an RBI double to give the Reds a 2-0 lead. India is now on a nine-game hitting streak and he’s 17-for-33 (.515) in that stretch. In June, he’s 30-for-80 (.375) with 18 runs scored and 14 RBI in 24 games. India’s average is up to .272 on the season with a .771 OPS and 32 RBI.

    Elly De La Cruz went 3-for-5 with a run scored, a triple, an RBI and a stolen base against the Cardinals on Thursday.



    Advice: De La Cruz’s RBI triple off Miles Mikolas in the first inning started the scoring for Cincinnati. He later stole his 38th base of the season. De La Cruz is hitting .255 with an .815 OPS and 36 RBI on the year.

    Advice: Hoerner blasted his third home run of the season in the third inning with a runner on and also stole his 14th base of the year The infielder is not known as a big power threat, as his career best in homers for a season is only 10, but he is a capable baserunner.     Trea Turner went 2-for-4 with three runs scored on Thursday in the Phillies’ loss to the Marlins.

    Nico Hoerner went 3-for-5 with a homer and a stolen base for the Cubs in an extra-inning win over the Giants on Thursday.

    Advice: Hoerner swatted a two-run blast off Jordan Hicks in the third inning to give the Cubs a 2-0 lead. That’s only the third homer of the season for the 27-year-old, but the steal was already the 14th of the year.
