• Clubs fourth homer
Montero went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run in Tuesday's 11-9 loss to the Dodgers.

Advice: Montero has an extra-base hit and at least one RBI in each of his last three games. He began Tuesday's game on the bench but entered early after Charlie Blackmon (hamstring) exited the contest. Montero is at a middling .209/.274/.313 slash line with four homers, 27 RBI, 22 runs scored and 10 doubles over 62 contests this season, though he's hit just .167 (8-for-48) in June. If Blackmon misses additional time, that may allow Montero to be in the lineup more often, as his playing time has started to slip. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 10:43 pm

  • Tallies three hits, including homer
Vientos went 3-for-5 with a solo home run and two additional runs scored in Tuesday's win over the Rangers.

Advice: The 24-year-old third baseman opened the game's scoring by scorching a 409-foot solo homer off Michael Lorenzen in the second inning. Vientos has been hot since securing the hot corner in Queens when Brett Baty was demoted May 31, hitting .333 (19-for-57) with three homers, 11 runs scored and 11 RBI. Overall, Vientos is slashing .317/.375/.554 in 112 total plate appearances this season. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 9:06 pm

  • Mark Vientos homers, scores three times in victory
Mark Vientos went 3-for-5 with a homer and three runs scored as the Mets came from behind the edge the Rangers 7-6 on Tuesday.

Advice: The Mets were down 6-2 after five, yet still won their seventh game in a row. Vientos is now batting a cool .317/.375/.554 with six homers in 112 plate appearances. He’s not going to keep hitting for average like this, but the power is legit. Rotoworld Yesterday, 8:46 pm

  • Santander hits 18th homer as O’s fall to Yanks
Anthony Santander went 1-for-4 with a home run and two RBI in Tuesday’s loss to the Yankees.

Advice: Santander broke up a shutout in the ninth inning when he homered off Clay Holmes, who was brought on in a non-save situation. After getting off to a slow start, Santander has heated up in a big way as of late. The veteran right fielder is slashing .292/.347/.738 in the month of June with nine home runs and 16 RBI. • Battling tendinitis
Manager David Bell said Candelario was removed from Tuesday's win over the Pirates due to tendinitis, Charlie Goldsmith of The Cincinnati Enquirer reports.

Advice: Candelario appeared to be in a bit of pain while running the bases during Tuesday's game, eventually leading to his removal during the eighth inning. However, the Reds' skipper noted that the 30-year-old infielder is not at risk of spending time on the injured list, and he seemed confident that the injury will go away relatively quickly. Should Candelario have to miss any games, Santiago Espinal figures to be the next man up to start at third base. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 7:09 pm

  • Josh Bell has two hits in win
Josh Bell went 2-for-4 with an RBI and a run scored in a win over the Cardinals on Tuesday.

Advice: Bell came into today just 12-for-52 (.231) in June after a really solid month of May that saw him hit .311 in 27 games. The veteran doesn’t have a tremendous stat line on the season, but he does have seven home runs and 32 RBI while striking out just 18 percent of the time. He remains one of the top first baseman on the trade block and could see a real boost in value if he finds himself in a better lineup. Rotoworld Yesterday, 6:53 pm

  • Burleson has two hits, HR in loss
Alec Burleson went 2-for-5 with a solo home run and two runs scored in a loss to the Marlins on Tuesday.

Advice: It was Burleson’s 10th home run of the season to go along with 25 RBIs. It’s also his fifth home run in June alone. The 25-year-old continues to make a lot of contact while hitting near the top of the Cardinal’s lineup and with the power starting to tick up, he deserves to be in fantasy lineups in almost all league types. • Gio Urshela drives in lone run for Tigers in loss
Gio Urshela went 1-for-4 with an RBI in Tuesday’s loss to the Braves.

Advice: Urshela’s RBI single in the top of the sixth gave the Tigers their first run scored on a night where the Tigers struggled to string together hits against Spencer Schwellenbach, who made his best start of the season. Urshela was responsible for one of the Tigers’ five hits on the night and is hitting .304/.365/.413 in the month of June. Rotoworld Yesterday, 6:49 pm

  • Jeimer Candelario exits game with tendinitis issue
Jeimer Candelario was removed from Tuesday’s game against the Pirates with general fatigue and tendinitis.

Advice: Reds manager David Bell told reporters afterwards that Candelario isn’t in danger of requiring a trip to the injured list. It sounds like more of a day-to-day maintenance issue than anything else. Rotoworld Yesterday, 6:28 pm
