    • David Hamilton back in Saturday’s lineup vs. Reds
David Hamilton (side) is back in the lineup for Saturday’s showdown against the Reds.

Advice: Hamilton is back in Boston’s lineup after missing two of their last three contests due to some lingering left side discomfort. The 26-year-old speedster should be rostered in all fantasy formats at this point since he’s batting .315 (29-for-92) with three homers and 16 stolen bases over his last 30 games. His game-changing speed is a factor for fantasy purposes, even if he’s going to bat near the bottom of the lineup more often than not. Rotoworld Saturday, 10:19 am
    • Perfect at plate Friday
Cronenworth went 5-for-5 with a solo home run, a double, two RBI and four runs scored in Friday's 9-5 win over the Brewers.

Advice: This was Cronenworth's first career five-hit game. He's been locked in lately with five multi-hit efforts over his last 13 contests, going 16-for-50 (.320) in that span. The infielder's big game lifted his slash line to .266/.330/.464 with 12 homers, 49 RBI, 36 runs scored, 17 doubles and one stolen base over 75 contests this season. • Jake Cronenworth has five-hit day in win over MIL
Jake Cronenworth went 5-for-5 with a homer, four runs scored and a stolen base in a 9-5 win over the Brewers on Friday.

Advice: Cronenworth and Manny Machado combined for nine hits on Friday, which is a large number. The infielder hit his 12th homer of the season in the sixth off Colin Rea. The five knocks for Cronenworth give him seven in the last two games, and he’s seen his average rise from .251 to .266. The 30-year-old has been streaky for the majority of his career, and he appears to be on the right side of that right now. Rotoworld Friday, 10:00 pm

    • David Hamilton not in Red Sox’ lineup on Friday
David Hamilton is not in the Red Sox’ starting lineup for Friday night’s soiree against the Reds in Cincinnati.

Advice: The 26-year-old speedster has been battling discomfort in his left side, so it’s possible that they’re just easing him back into action. Or if could be that the Red Sox are facing a left-handed starter in Andrew Abbott. Either way, it wouldn’t be surprising at all to see him pinch-run and still swipe a bag or two on Friday night before all is said and done. Romy Gonzalez will start in his place at shortstop and bat second for the Red Sox on Friday evening. Rotoworld Friday, 1:14 pm
    • On bench against left-hander
Hamilton is not in the lineup for Friday's game in Cincinnati.

Advice: The left-handed hitting Hamilton has been an everyday guy lately for the Red Sox, but he'll begin this one on the bench as the Reds send southpaw Andrew Abbott to the bump. Hamilton has also dealt with a side issue this week, so the team could be exercising caution here. Romy Gonzalez will handle shortstop Friday. Rotowire.com Friday, 12:33 pm
    • Belts walk-off homer
Cronenworth went 2-for-5 with a walk-off solo home run and an additional run in Thursday's 7-6 win against the Brewers.

Advice: Cronenworth became the latest ninth-inning hero for the Padres when he swatted a 401-foot solo blast to give the team its third straight walk-off win. The long ball was the 11th of the season through 74 games for the infielder, who has already surpassed his total of 10 homers over 127 contests last year. Cronenworth is on pace to exceed his career-best totals of 21 home runs and 71 RBI, which he established in 2021. Rotowire.com Friday, 9:58 am

    • Jake Cronenworth delivers walkoff homer for Padres
Jake Cronenworth hit a walkoff homer off Joel Payamps as the Padres edged the Brewers 7-6 on Thursday.

Advice: Payamps couldn’t possibly have made a worse 3-2 pitch, and Cronenworth deposited the breaking ball 355 feet down the right field line for his 11th homer of the year. That’s one more in 74 games this season than he had in 127 games last year Cronenworth had been in a little 2-for-24 slump since his previous homer on June 11. Rotoworld Thursday, 11:17 pm

    • Homers in win
Gimenez went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run in Thursday's 6-3 win over the Mariners.

Advice: Gimenez entered the contest 0-for-13 over his last three games. The homer was his first since May 22, and it was his first extra-base hit since June 8. The second baseman is at a .257/.310/.357 slash line with five homers, 12 stolen bases, 37 RBI and 37 runs scored through 67 games this season. Rotowire.com Thursday, 10:53 pm
    • Two hits, steal in win
Hamilton started at shortstop and went 2-for-5 with a stolen base and an RBI in Wednesday's 7-3 win over the Blue Jays.

Advice: Hamilton returned to the starting lineup after dealing with discomfort in his side. He started the scoring with a run-producing single in the third inning and later stole his 20th base of the season. Hamilton has been prominent in the team's recent transition to the "Running Red Sox," as the team has attempted 17 steals (twice caught) over the last four games. Rotowire.com Thursday, 5:24 am
