    • Out again versus lefty
Stott is absent from the lineup for Thursday's game versus the Marlins.

Advice: Stott was out of the lineup Tuesday against a lefty and will also begin this one on the bench as the Marlins send southpaw Trevor Rogers to the hill. He did pinch hit in Tuesday's contest, so perhaps another mid-game appearance is possible. Whit Merrifield is handling second base for the Phillies on Thursday. Rotowire.com Today, 11:48 am

    • Bryson Stott gets a day off on Thursday
Bryson Stott is not in the Phillies’ starting lineup on Thursday.

Advice: Stott will get a routine day off on Thursday with left-handed Trevor Rogers on the mound. Edmundo Sosa will start at shortstop and bat sixth with Whit Merrifield starting at 2B. Trea Turner is also at DH with Kyle Schwarber moving to left field as David Dahl sits against a lefty. Rotoworld Today, 11:45 am

    • Strong results in rehab outing
Williams (elbow) yielded one run on three hits and two walks over four innings in a rehab start with Triple-A Columbus on Thursday.

Advice: Williams wasn't very efficient, needing 82 pitches to cover his four frames. The results were impressive, though, as he struck out six, induced 16 whiffs and gave up just one batted ball hit at 95+ mph. The Guardians have not confirmed any plans for when Williams' season debut for them will occur, but it could be next week, as soon as Tuesday versus the White Sox. Williams has been on the injured list all season with a right elbow problem. Rotowire.com Today, 11:02 am

    • Imaging comes out clean
Darvish had imaging on his right elbow come back clean Wednesday, though he'll likely get additional imaging "for peace of mind," Bernie Wilson of the Associated Press reports.

Advice: Darvish has recovered from a groin injury and was originally expected to come off the injured list to start Tuesday, but that plan was scrapped when he developed inflammation in his right elbow. Initial indications suggested that the issue is minor, and the clean imaging seems to support that, though San Diego will likely be cautious with the veteran hurler's return. It's not yet clear when Darvish will return to action or if he'll need to make any rehab starts given the extension of his absence. Rotowire.com Today, 9:59 am

    • Not making start this week
Jones isn't listed among the Pirates' probable starting pitchers for this weekend's series in Atlanta, Kevin Gorman of TribLive.com reports.

Advice: Jones will thus go the entire week without making a start, much to the chagrin of fantasy managers in weekly leagues who chose to keep him active. Gorman notes that general manager Ben Cherington has previously said that while the Pirates don't intend to shut Jones or fellow rookie phenom Paul Skenes down at any point this season, both pitchers will have their respective workloads managed to some degree as the campaign unfolds. Jones isn't dealing with any sort of injury, so the Pirates appear to have simply chosen this week as an opportunity to build in more recovery for the right-hander, who has logged 86 innings through his first 15 big-league starts. Jones now appears to be in line to make his next start at some point during next week's series versus the Cardinals. Rotowire.com Today, 7:30 am

    • Crushes another leadoff shot
Ohtani went 1-for-2 with a solo home run and two runs scored in Wednesday's win over the White Sox while also drawing two walks.

Advice: For the second game in a row, Ohtani crushed a leadoff home run to open the contest, giving the superstar slugger 25 long balls on the season and 11 in the month of June. He's now homered in five of his last six games and has posted at least one RBI in 10 straight, raising his league-leading average to .322 on the campaign. Ohtani has also drawn at least one walk in six consecutive games. Rotowire.com Today, 4:48 am

    • Excellent in doubleheader
Kelenic went 6-for-9 with a home run, four RBI and one stolen base over both games of Wednesday's doubleheader versus the Cardinals.

Advice: Kelenic knocked in half of Atlanta's runs in the matinee games, and he added an RBI single for their lone run in the nightcap. The outfielder has enjoyed a strong June, going 25-for-78 (.321) with five homers, 13 RBI and three steals over 21 contests this month. He's up to a .282/.321/.459 slash line with eight long balls, 25 RBI, three steals, 24 runs scored and 11 doubles through 65 games on the year. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 7:38 pm

    • Shohei Ohtani slugs solo homer in win over White Sox
Shohei Ohtani went 1-for-2 with a solo homer, two walks, and two runs scored in the Dodgers’ 4-0 win over the White Sox on Wednesday.

Advice: Ohtani took Erick Fedde deep to lead off the first inning, setting a Dodgers record with an RBI in 10 straight games. He then drew a walk in the third and scored on a double by Freddie Freeman. Ohtani walked once again in the seventh to reach for the third time. The 29-year-old superstar is slashing .322/.402/.643 with 25 homers, 65 runs scored, 61 RBI, and 16 steals across 360 plate appearances as we reach the midway point of the season. • Jarred Kelenic collects three hits against Braves
Jarred Kelenic went 3-for-4 with a run scored against the Cardinals on Wednesday.

Advice: After slugging a homer in the first game of Wednesday’s doubleheader against the Cardinals, Kelenic collected three more hits in the second game. His base hit in the eighth inning drove in the only run of the game for Atlanta. The 24-year-old outfielder has performed well since taking over the leadoff spot. He’s slashing .279/.318/.457 with eight homers and three steals across 223 plate appearances. Rotoworld Yesterday, 6:39 pm
