    • Homers, steals bag in win
Altuve went 2-for-3 with a three-run homer, two runs and a stolen base in Sunday's 4-1 win over the Tigers.

Advice: With two men on and two out in the second inning, Altuve took Kenta Maeda deep for his 11th long ball of the season. He added another hit and when he reached on a walk in the eighth he picked up his 10th stolen base of the campaign. It was Altuve's second home run in his last seven games after a streak of 17 games without a blast. The second baseman's has been hot as of late, hitting .333 in June and for the season he's slashing a healthy .299/.350/.460. Rotowire.com 30 minutes ago

    • Yennier Cano earns unexpected save for Orioles
Yennier Cano got one out on four pitches Sunday to grab the save. He struck out the only batter he faced.

Advice: Things got hairy in the ninth inning for Baltimore as a walk and two errors loaded the bases and forced Brandon Hyde to go to Cano with the tying run on deck. He struck out Edmundo Sosa to end the game and earned his third save of the season working in mostly a set-up role while Craig Kimbrel still soaks up the majority of saves. Rotoworld 37 minutes ago
    • Lively gives up four in loss to Blue Jays Sunday
Ben Lively allowed four runs in four innings and got the loss against the Blue Jays on Sunday.

Advice: Lively gave up six hits, walked three and struck out four. He had won his last five starts. Lively had allowed two runs through the first four innings. He was removed after walking Spencer Horwitz and Davis Schneider to begin the fifth inning. Both runners scored on Daulton Varsho’s grand slam off Nick Sandlin. Lively isn’t as good as his 3.02 ERA suggests given his 4.15 xFIP. He’s benefited greatly from an 85 percent left on base percentage and that caught it up with him a little bit on Sunday. He’s still been a really good find off the waiver wire for fantasy managers. The 32-year-old right-hander is set to face the Blue Jays at home next week.

    • Remains out of lineup
Doyle (knee) is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Pirates.

Advice: Doyle will take a seat for the second day in a row while he manages left patella tendinitis. Jake Cave will step in as the Rockies' starting center field in place of Doyle, who can be viewed as day-to-day heading into the team's four-game home set with the Dodgers that begins Monday. • Beginning rehab assignment Tuesday
Cardinals manager Oliver Marmol said that Contreras (forearm) is likely to begin a rehab assignment Tuesday with either Triple-A Memphis or Double-A Springfield, John Denton of MLB.com reports.

Advice: Contreras reached a meaningful milestone in his recovery from surgery to repair a fractured left forearm by taking batting practice earlier in the weekend, and with the veteran backstop apparently coming out of the workout without any renewed soreness, he looks like he's ready for game action. Because he's been on the shelf since May 8, Contreras could stay on his minor-league rehab assignment throughout the week before potentially returning from the 10-day injured list before the end of June. Once Contreras is activated, he should reclaim the No. 1 catcher's role from Ivan Herrera. Rotowire.com Today, 9:52 am

    • Brenton Doyle (knee) out again Sunday vs. PIT
Brenton Doyle (knee) is not in the starting lineup Sunday against the Pirates.

Advice: Doyle was scratched from the lineup Sunday against Pittsburgh while dealing with left patella tendinitis. The speedy outfielder will get at least one more day off, and Jake Cave will handle center field. Rotoworld Today, 9:32 am

    • Contreras (forearm) likely to begin rehab Tuesday
Willson Contreras (forearm) is likely going to begin a rehab assignment with Triple-A Memphis on Tuesday.

Advice: Contreras has made a rapid recovery from surgery to repair his fractured forearm, and what looked to be an injury that would keep him out through the All-Star break now appears to be one where he could be back as the Cardinals backstop in the next week. Keep in mind that setbacks do happen, but all signs point to the 32-year-old being a regular for the Cardinals much sooner than anticipated. Rotoworld Today, 9:05 am

    • Sitting Sunday
Murphy is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Rays.

Advice: Murphy will rest for the series finale after he started behind the plate Friday and Saturday while going 2-for-7 with a walk and a run scored. Travis d'Arnaud will garner the start at catcher Sunday. Rotowire.com Today, 8:07 am

    • Belts 11th homer
Olson went 2-for-4 with a solo home run and an additional run in a 9-2 win against Tampa Bay on Saturday.

Advice: Olson was part of a big fifth inning for Atlanta, swatting the team's third and final homer in the frame. The first baseman extended his hitting streak to nine contests, a stretch during which he is batting .361 (13-for-26) with two home runs and five RBI. Olson's 11 homers are second-most on Atlanta but are well off the pace of the 54 long balls he belted last season. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 10:04 pm
