    • Blasts home run, swipes bag
Contreras went 2-for-5 with a two-run homer, three RBI, two runs scored and a stolen base in Sunday's 8-3 win over the Nationals.

Advice: Contreras had a monster game against the Nationals, contributing in all facets and extended a hitting streak to six games in Sunday's win. He clubbed his ninth home run of the season and his third in his last six games. The veteran had his first three RBI game of the season and picked up his third stolen base in the process. He's been playing well since returning from the IL and is hitting .299/.399/.529 for the campaign. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 5:12 pm
    • Dazzles for 10th win
Skubal (10-3) allowed one run on three hits over seven innings to earn the win Sunday against the Reds. He struck out 13.

Advice: Skubal was dominant once again Sunday as he recorded a new season high in strikeouts and allowed one run or fewer for the 10th time in 18 starts. The lefty now has a stellar 2.37 ERA and 132 strikeouts across 110 innings this year, which earned him his first All-Star selection on Sunday as well. Skubal has been an excellent fantasy asset, and he's set up to make one more start before the All-Star break, likely on Friday against the Dodgers. It's a tough matchup, but the Detroit ace should remain locked into lineups the rest of the way. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 4:42 pm
    • Grabs one-out save
Neris struck out the only batter he faced to earn the save in Sunday's 5-0 win over the Angels.

Advice: Neris was credited with the save after Luke Little loaded the bases with two outs in the ninth inning. Neris struck out Zach Neto on four pitches to end the threat. This is the second stretch of the season where Neris has avoided giving up a run over five consecutive appearances, with this scoreless streak at 4.1 innings. He has a 9:2 K:BB in that span, and for the season, the closer is up to 12 saves with a 4.06 ERA, 1.58 WHIP and 33:22 K:BB across 31 innings. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 3:18 pm

    • Tarik Skubal leads pitching for A.L. All-Stars
Tarik Skubal was named to his first American League All-Star team on Sunday.

Advice: The 27-year-old southpaw racked up a career-best 13 strikeouts in a victory over the Reds on Sunday afternoon, then got the news that he would be heading to the All-Star Game. He’s certainly deserving, having posted a 10-3 record, 2.37 ERA, 0.90 WHIP and a 132/20 K/BB ratio over 110 innings in his first 18 starts. He’ll be joined on the pitching staff for the American League All-Stars by Corbin Burnes, Garrett Crochet, Tanner Houck, Seth Lugo, Cole Ragans, Logan Gilbert, Tyler Anderson, Mason Miller, Kirby Yates, Clay Holmes and Emmanuel Clase. • Héctor Neris gets one-out save versus Angels
Héctor Neris struck out the only batter he faced for a save in a 5-0 game against the Angels on Sunday.

Advice: Luke Little retired the first two batters in the ninth, only to give up two infield singles and a walk afterwards. That created the save chance for Neris, and Neris fanned Zach Neto to end the game. After an ugly run in mid-June, he’s struck out nine and picked up two saves and a win in 4 1/3 innings over his last five appearances. Rotoworld Yesterday, 2:12 pm

    • Cody Bellinger goes 0-for-4 in second straight
Cody Bellinger went 0-for-4 for a second straight game Sunday against the Angels.

Advice: Bellinger’s batting average has been holding steady, but he has just one homer and six doubles since the beginning of June. In his first 43 games this season, he hit .267/.332/.471 with 26 RBI. In his last 34 games, he’s come in at .265/.319/.333 with 11 RBI. Rotoworld Yesterday, 2:12 pm

    • Willson Contreras smacks another home run in win
Willson Contreras went 2-for-5 with a home run, three RBI, two runs scored, and a stolen base in the Cardinals’ 8-3 win over the Nationals on Sunday.

Advice: Contreras has picked up right where he left off since returning from the IL. His home run was scorched at 108.9 MPH and even his single was sizzled at 105.4 MPH. Few players, let alone catchers, hit the ball as hard and as consistently as Contreras. He’s on pace to put together a huge second half. Rotoworld Yesterday, 1:49 pm
    • Snaps out of power slump
Olson went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Sunday's win over the Phillies.

Advice: Olson took rookie Michael Mercado deep in the second inning to break out of a 14-game homerless drought. It was Olson's second separate streak of 14 or more games without a homer this season, after only having one such streak all of last season. The 30-year-old entered the game in a 10-for-65 slump with just two extra-base hits and three RBI in his last 18 games, so he'll try to find some positive momentum headed into the All-Star break. • Tarik Skubal strikes out 13 Reds in win
Tarik Skubal dazzled across seven innings with 13 strikeouts in the Tigers’ 5-1 win over the Reds on Sunday.

Advice: Skubal seems to keep getting better. He forced a season-best 23 swings-and-misses en route to his season-best 13 punch outs and the Reds’ batters were clueless for most of this game. They had a mini rally in the seventh inning, but Skubal navigated through it and maintained the lead. It’s almost an impossible task for opposing hitters to be ready for 99 MPH heat, a quality sinker, an outrageously good changeup, a 92 MPH slider, and a devastating knuckle curve that comes out for special occasions.
