    • Getting MRI on knee
Thomas will receive an MRI on his left knee Wednesday, Mark Zuckerman of MASNSports.comreports.

Advice: Thomas injured his knee while swiping a bag in the fifth inning of Tuesday's loss to the Dodgers. Once the results of his imaging come back, a better picture will emerge regarding the severity of his injury, as well as an estimate for how much time -- if any -- the 28-year-old will miss. Thomas is slashing .184/.250/.253 across 96 plate appearances this season. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 7:32 pm

    • CJ Abrams has three hits in loss to LAD
CJ Abrams went 3-for-5 and was caught stealing in a loss to the Dodgers on Tuesday.

Advice: All three of Abrams’ hits were singles, but Abrams is now slashing .316/.372/.671 on the season. He was hitting leadoff even against a lefty and continues to make a tremendous amount of contact. The only blemish is that this was the second time Abrams was caught stealing this year to go along with four steals. However, anybody who thought the 23-year-old’s performance in 2023 was a fluke might be regretting not having him on their fantasy team. Rotoworld Yesterday, 7:30 pm

    • McArthur picks up fifth save of the season
James McArthur pitched two scoreless innings to earn the save in Tuesday’s win over the Blue Jays.

Advice: McArthur put in an extra inning to earn the save in this one. While he didn’t tally a strikeout, the Royals closer needed just 20 pitches to secure the one-run victory on a night where his team was out-hit at the plate. McArthur now has five saves on the season, which is tied for 10th most in the league and only four off from the league leader. Rotoworld Yesterday, 7:30 pm
    • Lane Thomas to undergo MRI on left knee
Lane Thomas will undergo an MRI on Wednesday on his left knee.

Advice: It’s certainly not what fantasy managers want to hear after Thomas made an early exit from Tuesday’s showdown against the Dodgers after twisting his left leg on a stolen base attempt. There should be an update on his status prior to Wednesday’s showdown. Fantasy managers should consider him day-to-day for the moment, but it’s possible he’ll wind up requiring a trip to the injured list. Rotoworld Yesterday, 7:30 pm

    • Witt doubles, drives in two vs. Blue Jays
Bobby Witt Jr. was 3-for-4 with a double and two RBI in the Royals’ win over the Blue Jays on Tuesday.

Advice: Witt was integral to a three-run fifth inning for the Royals, who had been held scoreless until that point. His double plated Maikel Garcia and Kyle Isbel to give the Royals a 3-2 lead, which proved to be just what they needed to escape with the win over Kevin Gausman and the Jays. Witt’s bat continues to stay hot, as he’s now hit in four straight games.

    • Paredes homers in loss to Tigers
Isaac Paredes went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run in a loss to the Tigers on Tuesday.

Advice: In a rare occurrence, Paredes homered to left-center field instead of down the line in left field. The ball left the bat at 100.8 mph and traveled 384 feet. It was the 25-year-old’s sixth home run on the season to go along with 16 RBI. He’s been strong again to start the season, which he’ll need to continue to be since one of the best prospects in baseball, Junior Caminero, plays his position and is just one level away. Still, Paredes will continue to play if he keeps hitting, and there are no indications that last year’s breakout was a fluke. Rotoworld Yesterday, 7:01 pm

    • Braxton Garrett to make rehab start on Friday
Braxton Garrett (shoulder) will make a minor league rehab start on Friday for Triple-A Jacksonville.

Advice: Garrett made it through a 25-pitch bullpen session on Tuesday without any issues and is expected to throw roughly 60 pitches on Friday as he kicks off another rehab assignment. He’ll likely require a couple additional outings to continue building up his pitch count and stamina before making his season debut. Rotoworld Yesterday, 6:09 pm

    • Exits early Tuesday
Thomas was removed from Tuesday's game against the Dodgers with an apparent leg injury, Mark Zuckerman of MASNSports.com reports.

Advice: Thomas appeared to tweak his left leg while stealing a base in the fifth inning, though he remained in the game briefly before being replaced on defense ahead of the seventh. The Nationals will take a closer look at him in the clubhouse and should offer more information on his status in the near future. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 5:50 pm

    • Lane Thomas exits game with potential injury
Lane Thomas made an early exit from Tuesday’s game against the Dodgers with a potential injury.

Advice: Thomas appeared to twist his left leg while stealing second base -- his 11th theft of the season -- earlier in the contest. He was able to stay in the game initially before being replaced by Eddie Rosario in right field. There should be an update on his status shortly. Rotoworld Yesterday, 5:44 pm
