    • Adam Rosales went 3-for-4 with a steal in Wednesday's 6-1 win against the A's.
Advice: He's 6-for-12 (.500) with two walks over his last three games, the past two of which have come against his former team. Which must be sweet. You might recall last year's Rosales transaction shenanigans between these two clubs. If not, here's your primer: The A's DFA'd him on Deadline Day, the Rangers claimed him on August 2, they DFA'd him on August 5, the A's claimed him back on August 8 and DFA'd him on August 10. The Rangers got him back for good on yet another claim two days later. Rosales has surprisingly turned into a productive AL-only player as the season winds down. He's now slashing .297/.371/.445 across 46 games.

    • Adeiny Hechavarria is out of the Marlins' starting lineup on Tuesday due to a sore left shoulder.
Advice: Ed Lucas will start at shortstop against the Mets. Hechavarria missed some time earlier this season with discomfort in his left elbow, but this issue has more to do with his shoulder. He is day-to-day.

    • Adeiny Hechavarria drove home the Marlins lone run in Friday's loss to the Phillies.
Advice: His RBI single in the sixth inning plated Jeff Baker, tying the game at 1-1. He finished the evening 2-for-4, raising his season slash to .280/.311/.364. He doesn't provide much in the way of power or speed, but is worth using in NL-only formats for his consistent at-bats.

    • Dodgers manager Don Mattingly said Wednesday that Hanley Ramirez (elbow) is feeling better.
Advice: Ramirez is missing his second straight start Wednesday with a strained right elbow, but the hope is that he'll be ready for the four-game series in Chicago that begins Thursday. The shortstop was able to pinch-hit in Tuesday's contest.

    • Hanley Ramirez was scratched from Tuesday's lineup due to a right elbow strain.
Advice: It's not clear how the ailment popped up or how long he might be sidelined, but the Dodgers should provide more on his status later Tuesday. Justin Turner took Ramirez's spot at shortstop.

    • Hanley Ramirez went 4-for-5 with two RBI and a run scored in a 9-4 victory over the Padres on Monday.
Advice: He was also caught stealing. Ramirez's RBI single in the first inning kicked off the game's scoring. By the time he touched home plate on Matt Kemp's double in the fifth, the Dodgers led 5-1 en route to a blowout victory. Ramirez came into this game having gone hitless in eight of 12 games since returning from a 15-day stint on the disabled list with a strained oblique.
