  • Sharp in third win
Kikuchi (3-5) earned the win Thursday over Baltimore, allowing one run on four hits and a walk over six innings. He struck out six.

Advice: Kikuchi held the Orioles scoreless through his first five innings, ultimately allowing a lone run on an Adley Rutschman solo home run in the sixth. It was an encouraging rebound effort from the 32-year-old left-hander, who'd given up 10 earned runs over just 8.1 innings in his previous two outings. Kikuchi lowered his ERA to 3.48 on the campaign with a 1.22 WHIP and 71:15 K:BB across 13 starts (72.1 innings). Kikuchi is currently scheduled to face the Brewers on the road in his next outing. • Short outing vs. Cleveland
Singer didn't factor into the decision Thursday against the Guardians, allowing three runs (two earned) on nine hits and a walk over 3.2 innings. He struck out two.

Advice: Singer's final line could've been much worse, as he matched a season high with nine hits allowed while failing to make it through four innings. Prior to Thursday, Singer hadn't allowed more than one earned run in five of his last six outings. Overall, the 27-year-old right-hander is 4-2 on the year with a 2.76 ERA, 1.21 WHIP and 66:20 K:BB across 12 starts (65.1 innings) this season. Singer's currently in line for a home matchup with the Yankees in his next start. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 2:44 pm
  • Will throw BP
Clevinger (elbow) will throw batting practice Friday and willeventually require a rehab start or two, Vinnie Duber of AllCHGO.com reports.

Advice: Clevinger was placed on the 15-day injured list May 28 with right elbow inflammation. The 33-year-old had a late start to the season, making his White Sox debut near the beginning of May, and he is due for more time away from the majors as he builds himself back up. • Strikes out seven in no-decision
Bibee allowed three runs (two earned) on six hits and a walk over five innings in a no-decision Thursday against the Royals. He struck out seven.

Advice: Bibee allowed just one unearned run through his first five innings Thursday, though he'd be charged with two runs in the sixth after allowing the first two batters to reach. Still, it was another decent effort from the 25-year-old right-hander -- Bibee now has seven strikeouts in back-to-back outings while pitching to a 2.12 ERA over his last five starts. Overall, he's 4-1 on the year with a 3.73 ERA, 1.19 WHIP and 76:19 K:BB through 70 innings. Bibee's currently in line for a road matchup with the Reds in his next outing. • Dodgers outright Elieser Hernández to Triple-A
Dodgers sent RHP Elieser Hernández outright to Triple-A Oklahoma City.

Advice: Hernández went unclaimed on waivers after being designated for assignment last week and will presumably stick around with the Dodgers as extra organizational relief depth. The 29-year-old righty has made five appearances (one start) this season in the big leagues for Los Angeles. Rotoworld Yesterday, 2:04 pm
  • Hogan Harris to start Friday against Blue Jays
Hogan Harris will start on Friday against the Blue Jays.

Advice: It was originally supposed to Luis Medina drawing the starting assignment for Friday’s series opener, but he’ll get an extra day of rest with Hogan bumping up to take the ball instead. There isn’t a ton of fantasy value to be extracted here, but both Harris and Medina have been pitching well of late, and Toronto’s lineup continues to struggle. Rotoworld Yesterday, 1:59 pm
  • Quinn Priester lands on 15-day IL with lat strain
Pirates placed RHP Quinn Priester on the 15-day injured list, retroactive to June 3, with a right lat strain.

Advice: No word yet on the severity of the issue, but Priester could probably use some time to reset after getting knocked around in his last few outings at the big-league level. The 23-year-old former top prospect has struggled to a bloated 4.83 ERA, 1.55 WHIP and 20/10 K/BB ratio across 31 2/3 innings (six starts) for the Pirates this season, but has put up encouraging numbers back at Triple-A Indianapolis. • A’s activate and option Joe Boyle to Triple-A
A’s activated RHP Joe Boyle from the 15-day injured list; optioned him to Triple-A Las Vegas.

Advice: Boyle will remain stationed at Triple-A Las Vegas as extra starting pitching depth after wrapping up a minor league rehab assignment. The 24-year-old’s control issues put a lid on his ceiling at the highest level as he remains a work in progress. He compiled a bloated 7.16 ERA, 1.74 WHIP and 29/23 K/BB ratio across 27 2/3 innings (seven starts) prior to landing on the shelf last month with a back strain. Rotoworld Yesterday, 1:15 pm
  • In line to start Saturday
Munoz is likely to be recalled to start Saturday versus the Guardians, Nate Karzmer of Fish on First reports.

Advice: Karzmer dropped the news following an interview with Marlins manager Skip Schumaker, although it's not clear whether the news came directly from the skipper. It's the rotation spot vacated by the injured Sixto Sanchez (shoulder). Munoz has collected a 5.17 ERA and 19:7 K:BB over 15.2 innings covering three starts with the Marlins this season.
