  • Jack Suwinski homers in win over Dodgers
    Jack Suwinski hit a solo home run in a win over the Dodgers on Tuesday.

    Advice: Suwinski was recalled from Triple-A Indianapolis earlier in the day and responded with the only run of the game when he blasted a 375-foot home run off Tyler Glasnow in his first at-bat. He also struck out in his other two at-bats, and that’s a perfect encapsulation of Suwinski as a hitter. The 25-year-old had struggled to a .174/.268/.297 slash line before being demoted and was attempting to change his approach by being more aggressive in the zone to combat his high called-strike rate from 2023.     Tyler Freeman went 1-for-4 with a home run and two RBI in a win over the Royals on Tuesday.

    Advice: Freeman greeted Seth Lugo in the sixth inning with a 402-foot shot that left the bat at 102.3 mph. It was his fifth home run on the season, and now has 24 RBI to go along with a .219/.308/.358 slash line. Freeman has been trending up in recent weeks but with the renewed health fo Steven Kwan and Andres Gimenez, Freeman has moved back down to the bottom third of the lineup, which will limit his opportunities for runs and RBI.     Jung Hoo Lee underwent season-ending shoulder surgery on Tuesday in Los Angeles.
