  • Ronald Acuña Jr. plates run in victory over Cubs
Ronald Acuña Jr. went 1-for-3 with an RBI on Monday, leading the Braves to a 2-0 win over the Cubs.

Advice: Acuña extended Atlanta’s lead with a sixth-inning RBI single off Cubs reliever Hayden Wesneski with two outs in the frame after being picked off first base on a pair of occasions by Chicago starter Shota Imanaga earlier in the contest. The 26-year-old fantasy superstar has gotten it going at the dish of late, batting .275 (11-for-40) with two homers and one steal in 10 games since the start of May. Rotoworld 12 minutes ago
  • Exits with toe injury
Morel left Monday's game against Atlanta after fouling a ball off his left foot, and he's been diagnosed with a left toe injury, Maddie Lee of the Chicago Sun-Times reports.

Advice: Morel is reportedly dealing with bumps and bruises, per Lee, so this appears to be a day-to-day type of injury. The Cubs should know more about his availability for the rest of the week after re-evaluating him Tuesday. Rotowire.com 33 minutes ago
  • MRI shows inflammation
An MRI revealed that Riley has inflammation in his left side, David O'Brien of The Athletic reports.

Advice: The results of Riley's MRI indicate that he'll be able to avoid a trip to the 10-day injured list, though the club will exercise caution to ensure he doesn't make the injury worse. "They'll treat him up tomorrow and see where he's at," said manager Brian Snitker. "The MRI just showing inflammation is a good thing, now it's going to be maintenance and a day-to-day thing." • Amed Rosario delivers three RBI in Rays’ win
Amed Rosario went 2-for-4 with three RBI on Monday, propelling the Rays to a 5-3 win over the Red Sox.

Advice: Rosario kicked off the scoring with a two-run triple into the right-center field gap in the opening frame before coming around to score on ensuing batter Richie Palacios’s run-scoring single. He also provided a key insurance run with an eighth-inning RBI double as well. Rotoworld 41 minutes ago
  • Tyler O’Neill blasts three-run homer in loss to Rays
Tyler O’Neill slugged a three-run homer on Monday in the Red Sox’ loss to the Rays.

Advice: O’Neill took Rays ace Zach Eflin deep with a gargantuan 426-foot moonshot over the Green Monster at Fenway Park for his 10th round-tripper of the season. It wound up being his lone hit in three at-bats in a low-scoring affair. The 28-year-old slugger has fit in exceptionally well with the Red Sox after signing a one-year pact in the offseason and appears to be on the way to eclipsing the 30-homer plateau for the first time since the 2021 campaign, if he can stay on the field. • Daulton Varsho powers Blue Jays past Orioles
Daulton Varsho went 1-for-5 with a solo homer and two RBI on Monday, leading the Blue Jays to a 3-2 win over the Orioles.

Advice: Varsho came through in a pair of clutch situations, walloping a game-tying solo shot -- his seventh big fly of the season -- off Orioles relief ace Yennier Cano in the eighth inning before delivered the go-ahead run with a 10th-inning ground out. The 27-year-old is unlikely to add much from a batting average standpoint, but his 20-homer power and ability to chip in double-digit steals is appealing for fantasy managers in deeper mixed leagues. • Adley Rutschman crushes two homers in O’s loss
Adley Rutschman clobbered a pair of solo homers on Monday in the Orioles’ loss to the Blue Jays.

Advice: Rutschman took Blue Jays starter José Berríos deep in the fourth and sixth innings to record the first multi-homer performance of his young career. The 26-year-old franchise cornerstone, who has gone deep in back-to-back contests, is batting .309/.343/.491 with 23 runs scored, eight homers, 25 RBI and one steal through 175 plate appearances this season. • Goes deep again Monday
Torkelson went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run in Monday's 6-5 win over the Marlins.

Advice: After going the first 37 games of the season without launching any home runs, Torkelson has now blasted off in consecutive contests. Both home runs were two-run shots, and the 24-year-old could certainly keep it going, as he's shown the ability to hit long balls in bunches. Torkelson recorded a career-best 31 home runs last year, to go along with 94 RBI. Rotowire.com 56 minutes ago
  • Otto Lopez smacks two-run homer in Marlins’ loss
Otto Lopez belted a two-run homer on Monday in the Marlins’ loss to the Tigers.

Advice: Lopez put the Marlins ahead briefly with an eighth-inning blast off Tigers reliever Alex Faedo with two outs in the frame. It was his third long ball in just 17 games since being called up last month from Triple-A Jacksonville. The 25-year-old should continue getting a shot to prove himself with Miami and is off to a nice start, batting .313/.371/.656 with three homers and one steal in 35 plate appearances.
