Ixnay to the NA, for now ... I'd like to add a few NA spots to our league rosters, but let's do this next year. I don't want the new rule to rankle anyone's draft strategies now at this late of a juncture.

UPPING THE ANTE: I got a bonus at work, and I really do not want us to have a 10-team league, so I'm upping the league champion reward to $40 e-gift card to Pizza Hut!!! If nothing else it will give me a little extra incentive to try to win and repeat as champ so I don't have to payout the reward at end of season :)

Welcome to the 7th season of Deep Dish Roto. My goal is to get us back to a deep league - 20 teams if we can. In order to reach this goal, I have decided on a way to sweeten the pot and attract more new owners, who I hope will attend the draft and continually manage their team.

For the first time ever, the league champion of Deep Dish Roto will receive a reward: a $20 e-gift card to Pizza Hut, courtesy of the commissioner! Well, unless the Green Slammers repeat as champions, then I will reward myself however I like as commissioner :). Keep in mind that the league is still completely free to you all, unless some of you have side bets I'm not aware of :).

I have only changed one rule for this year ... we are now using the "Can't Cut List" that Yahoo provides and maintains. This would prevent managers from hitting the wrong key and accidentally cutting a marquee player.

Here's a breakdown on the scoring, all the same as last year -

Roster:
C, 1B, 2B, 3B, SS, 3 OF, 2 UTIL, 10 P, 10 Bench, 5 DL

Scoring:
Offense - Runs (R), Home Runs (HR), Runs Batted In (RBI), Stolen Bases (SB), Total Bases (TB), Batting Average (AVG), On-base + Slugging Percentage (OPS)

Defense - Wins (W), Saves (SV), Strikeouts (K), Holds (HLD), Earned Run Average (ERA), (Walks + Hits)/ Innings Pitched (WHIP), Strikeouts per Walk Ratio (K/BB)
