  • Throws another bullpen Saturday
Miller (shoulder) threw a bullpen session Saturday, Fabian Ardaya of The Athletic reports.

Advice: Miller is now expected to throw a three-inning simulated game within the next few days. Assuming all goes well, he will then embark on a minor-league rehab assignment. The Dodgers haven't said how long they plan on keeping Miller in the minors, but considering he has been on the shelf since April 13, he will likely need to make multiple starts in order to get back to a starter's workload. • Pirates outright Josh Fleming to Triple-A Indy
Pirates sent LHP Josh Fleming outright to Triple-A Indianapolis.

Advice: The 28-year-old southpaw passed through waivers unclaimed after being designated for assignment earlier in the week. Fleming posted a 5.68 ERA, 1.68 WHIP and a 13/9 K/BB ratio over 19 innings in 17 appearances for the Bucs. He’ll continue to function as extra bullpen depth for the Pirates at the Triple-A level. • Zach Eflin surrenders four runs against Blue Jays
Zach Eflin allowed four runs with three strikeouts over six innings in a no-decision against the Blue Jays on Saturday.

Advice: Eflin had worked through three scoreless innings before the Blue Jays brought a run across to score on three hits in the fourth. Four consecutive hits to start the fifth inning would bring three more runs in for Toronto. Eflin would return for one more inning, ending his day after six with three strikeouts. The 30-year-old right-hander will take a 4.12 ERA, 1.17 WHIP, and a 44/4 K/BB ratio across 59 innings into a start against the Royals in Tampa Bay on Friday. Rotoworld 43 minutes ago
  • Kevin Gausman goes six innings in no-decision
Kevin Gausman allowed three runs with six strikeouts over six innings in a no-decision against the Rays on Saturday.

Advice: Gausman had worked around four hits through five scoreless frames before the Rays would get to him in the sixth. Two base hits and a walk would load the bases with two outs. Amed Rosario knocked a single to plate two runs. José Caballero followed with a single to bring in one more before Gausman got out of the inning. He struck out six. The 33-year-old right-hander will take a 4.89 ERA, 1.51 WHIP, and a 43/11 K/BB ratio across 42 1/3 innings into a start against the Tigers in Detroit on Thursday. Rotoworld 45 minutes ago
  • Testing foot Sunday
Walker (foot) will throw a light bullpen session Sunday, Alex Coffey of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports.

Advice: Walker was forced out of his last start Thursday versus the Mets after taking a comebacker off his left foot. Once he gets a chance to throw off a mound Sunday, the Phillies will make a decision on whether or not the 31-year-old righty will make his next scheduled start -- tentatively scheduled for Wednesday against the Rangers. If the Phillies deem Walker unfit to start, Spencer Turnbull would return to the rotation. Rotowire.com Today, 1:54 pm
  • Shota Imanaga goes seven scoreless vs. Pirates
Shota Imanaga tossed seven shutout innings with seven strikeouts in a no-decision against the Pirates on Saturday.

Advice: Imanaga was outstanding once again, scattering four hits and one walk across seven scoreless innings. He did not allow a runner to reach scoring position until the seventh inning. The Pirates would put two runners on with a pair of base hits, but Imanaga would get out of trouble with a strikeout, one of seven on the day. He was saddled with a no-decision as the Cubs were also shut down by Bailey Falter. The 30-year-old left-hander has been perhaps the best starter in baseball so far, posting a 0.84 ERA, 0.91 WHIP, and a 58/9 K/BB ratio across 53 2/3 innings. He’ll take on the Cardinals in St. Louis on Friday. Rotoworld Today, 1:35 pm
  • Bailey Falter holds Cubs scoreless into eighth
Bailey Falter struck out two batters across 7 2/3 scoreless innings in a no-decision against the Cubs on Saturday.

Advice: Falter silenced the Cubs bats into the eighth inning in a pitching showdown against Shota Imanaga. He scattered three hits and two walks, striking out two. The Pirates couldn’t get anything across the board to put Falter in line for a win. The 27-year-old left-hander will take a 3.53 ERA, 0.98 WHIP, and a 29/13 K/BB ratio across 51 innings into a matchup against the Braves in Pittsburgh on Friday. Rotoworld Today, 1:34 pm

Tyler Mahle (elbow) threw a bullpen session on Saturday at Globe Life Field.

Advice: Mahle is almost exactly one year removed from Tommy John surgery and continues his progression towards his Rangers debut. The 29-year-old righty inked a two-year, $22 million contract last December with the defending World Series champions and figures to be ready to return sometime around midseason. • Set to be transferred to Double-A
Bubic (elbow) will have his rehab assignment transferred to Double-A Northwest Arkansas.

Advice: Bubic began his rehab assignment at the Royals' rookie level Arizona Complex affiliate May 7 and he'll now advance to Double-A. He made three appearances at the rookie level, allowing one run on four hits and two walks while striking out eight batters over 3.1 innings. The left-hander has been on the 60-day injured list since February as he has continued to recover from the Tommy John surgery he underwent last April. Rotowire.com Today, 12:48 pm
