  • It has been a month since last post, so I thought I would share hitting and pitching stats again. Can of Corn is crushing pitching points per inning. If he pitched as much as teams in front of him, he may jump all the way to first. Bang da Drum and Big Chill are crushing hitting. It makes sense that Bang da Drum is in first with being first in hitting and 2nd in Pts per inning.

    The 8th (Big Chill) and 10th (Gho-Strider) place teams jump into the top 5 if you just count hitting. If they make up innings they can jump into the top.

    The bottom 2 teams in points per inning also have the most innings left. They probably need to find some good pitching. Crystal Meth Tweakers and Can of Corn have a slight edge in points per inning. Bang the Drum, Bomb Squad, Cubs are very close with around 3.4 points per inning. Honey Nut is in a tier by himself at 3.265. Texas, Vottoman, and Gho-strider are around 3.0 per inning. I can't speak for the other teams, but I have been very unlucky with quality starts that led to losses or no wins. My luck is going to change.

  • We are now about 15% into the season and it has been a while since I did an update. Our new team has built a little bit of a lead with everyone else is pretty close. Gho-Strider and Can of Corn are a little bit further behind, but they also have the most innings in reserve. Once they use their innings, they will catch up.

    There just seems to be a lot of injuries this year. I know we had a lot during Covid, but this year it seems the pitchers have been impacted.

    Hopefully players get healthy soon. I know I have used all of my IL spots along with 2 injured players on my regular bench.

  • I made the change to allow pickups on same day this morning. I got the following message back, 'Your requested changes will be implemented immediately on Tuesday, April 9th in the morning. Until then, the league will continue to use your current settings'.

  • I have heard from 6 teams including me, which is a majority. I hope the remaining 4 teams also agree. I will try to make the change sometime tomorrow to allow pickups and drops on same day if both players have not played yet that day. I'm assuming it works the same way as fantasy football. We will see.

  • I hope everyone is enjoying the season so far. I know I have been at the bottom of the standings so far, but hopefully things will change.

    I just did some research and I believe I can change the settings to allow same day pickups if the game has not started. This is similar to what I use to for fantasy football. If you find out a player is hurt and cannot play, you can pickup a replacement.

    I sent a league chat on this item. Let me know if you want me to make this change.

  • Season is finally set to kickoff tomorrow along with all the teams roster moves. I'm looking forward to the season.

    The new team has been in first place after the 2 early games.

  • Reminder that keepers are due on 3/13 at 11:59 p.m. Pacific time (tomorrow night). Please make sure you have selected your keepers.

    We have one more week until the draft.

    I know one of my keepers is going for a MRI. I'm hoping to see an update sometime today. I may have to go with keeping just one player.

  • To set keepers go to My Team. In the blue box select 'choose your keeper players'. Check 0, 1, or 2 check boxes next to player you want to keep. Go to bottom of page and select 'set keepers'.

    Go back into 'choose your keeper players' and the check boxes should be checked on players you selected.

    This is through website. I don't use the phone app too much.

  • All teams have renewed and I have set the draft order. Please select your keepers before the deadline. You can keep 0, 1, or 2 players. Remember that I have moved up keeper and draft dates, so we get the game being played over seas.

  • Everyone, please note the new draft date and time along with new keeper deadline. I moved them up one week, so we will get the LAD vs SD games in the season.

  • The only rule or point change I made was moving to SB from Net stolen bases. I made SB 1.5 points. I just couldn't make it as valuable as driving a run home or scoring a run. It is easier to understand than subtracting any caught stealing.

  • There is one game on 3/20, and it will not count towards totals. Just keep that in mind when choosing keepers and drafting. I thought it was more important to draft closer to season starts. If people disagree, start a conversation. If most people agree, I can move keeper and draft dates.

  • Everyone, welcome back to a new season. I have setup keeper and draft times. Please review to make sure it works for you. If it doesn't work, then please call, email, or post onsite your conflict. I'm sure we can find a time that works for everyone.

    I currently have it scheduled for 3/26 7:00 p.m. CST, which is 2 days before season starts with keeper deadline on 21st, just 7 days before season starts.

    I'm still waiting on 2 teams to join before setting the draft order. It will be in reverse order of finish from last season: Teddy, Texas, Bomb, Slumpers, Big Chill, Cubs, Crystal, Can, Honey Nut, and Vottoman.
