Last Season there was an issue with fantasy players loading up on Pitchers and not
keeping Batter slots filled.
Yahoo doesn't allow me to control Bench positions or force players to keep Batting slots filled. The honor system with penalties is just not a realistic way to consistently be fair in monitoring that if we made our own league
rule. I believe it would just lead to complaints and problems in a cash league.
So, that being said, as much as it pains me, I have reduced the value of pitching stats by 30%. Hitters will have more value than Pitchers. A top pitcher with 2 starts in a week will have similar value to a top hitter who plays 6days in a week.
I hope this inspires fantasy players to keep hitting slots filled.
The idea is to provide the fun and expertise needed to stream Pitchers and have enough available on the wire.
I have also adjusted 2 hitting categories. I reduced NSB so a caught stealing isn't so destructive on a single day. I increased Outfield Assists in order to better reward Outfielders in relation to infield defense.
Further, with the changes in the ways SP
are used in MLB, I have swapped out Shutouts for Quality Starts. Shutouts will still be represented with Complete Games which still
exists.
It is my hope this inspires you to stay and play this season.

last year for knowledge purposes only or the odd chance we vote to play keepers.

COMMISSIONER NOTES AND LEAGUE RULES

Any Player that inadvertently drops a player may contact me, the Commissioner, at the time of the error. If you send me an email and post on the league page that this happened at the time of the incident if possible, or at the time you discovered it at the least, I may fix it for you. If you are able to catch it immediately there will be no issue with correcting the issue. You should give me the correct player to drop and I will make the adjustment.

I'm aware of the page shifting issues that Yahoo has as a result of them adding all the videos and advertisements. This often causes the page to improperly recognize a player that you click on. It's imperative that you double check before confirming the move. I have had the same issue and have been forced to remind myself to do this as well. So, I understand the problem.
