  • Well hello folks, welcome to week 2 on This Week in Road Trippin in Baseball. The injuries keep pilling up and the we are only in mid April - long way to go, so keep grinding. No trades yet, but if interested please fill out your "trade list." Bums is sitting in 1st place followed by Smell like trout. SacTown A's in a minor league park for the next 3 years - disgusting baseball allowed the fuck face Fisher to destroy the team from inside and out, just because MLB wanted a team in Vegas - they should be ashamed of themselves, I grew up in Sac and can't be more pissed about the move. Anyways, lets busch whack ourselves into week 2...

    Well hello folks, welcome to the week in baseball and what a long extended week it was. As we all gaze up to the skies, the injuries keep adding up. Good news is we have a ton of baseball ahead of us and most likely a few more elbow injuries. So lets Spencer Steer ourselves into week one.

    As we have a few new managers this season please take a look at the settings. We have IL spots and 1 NA spot to stash a minor league player or whatever lands NA. Standard 5x5 and we use QS for pitching and OPS for hitters.

    MAX MOVES - we use max moves in this league to limit SP streaming so be careful not to blow your load early it’s a long grind (talking to myself). I increased max moves from 75 to 80 this season. There was some talk about adding a bench slot but I think that was slow trading and use of moves - so add 5 moves. Not a big change but something. *** max moves includes playoffs so beware.
    *these are next day moves. So when you add a player from FA he will be available the following day - same goes for trades. Standard waiver wire for players being added or dropped.

    Trades: do not count as moves. Trades are way down in fantasy baseball over the years probably do to the crazy amount of information available to us but I love trading. Please use the trade block to indicate who you might want to move or what you want. Be respectful and respond to people trade offers with a reject/counter/accept but do not just ignore offers - just disrespectful. There should never be collusion in this league and I don’t it ever comes up but you can disagree with a manager making a trade but it’s their choice. But you can always veto it only if you believe there is collusion.

    CHAT: as much as I hate yahoo removing the message board we need to use chat. You can communicate with the league or individuals if you want to talk shit or trade or you can use email. But chat will probably be the most active communication method.

    This week in baseball: ⚾️ I’ll try update a week in review as much as possible but life always gets in the way of my fantasy life. I will attempt to do a quick write up for the week in review - will post it to commish note.

    See everyone at draft. Date and time are set. They will not change. Test your system and be prepared.
    Season opener is March 28th. I know there is a two game series in South Korea padres vs dodgers on March 20/21 but those games stats will not count. Sucks but the rest of baseball is still playing spring training games for another week!
