League dues are $25 per team. Paypal payments must be sent as a 'gift' to avoid fees. Please pay as soon as you can so you don't forget. Payouts are as follows and as always, 1st and 2nd place positions will receive their monetary winnings NLT start of the World Series:

1st gets $150 and a Free Buy-In for 2025
2nd Gets $75 and a Free Buy-In for 2025
3rd gets a Free Buy-In for 2025

KEEPERS

Manager’s may keep from 0 to 4 players, with any team short of 4 getting picks in the 'Keeper Rounds’ instead of a keeper.

Players can be kept a maximum of 3 consecutive seasons before that player goes back into the pool.. Keepers lock in a year of service time after being chosen for a keeper (all players protected and drafted in rounds 3-6). Thus, PLAYERS selected in the keeper rounds via pick do NOT accrue service because they have not been kept yet. IE let's say you keep 1, then that player is your only declared keeper and you get picks in rounds 3, 4, and 5. All three of those picks are service time free.... this makes ALL picks in the draft service time free (except keepers).

IF a player began the season as a keeper and ended the season on someone's roster (via trade or waiver claim), they still accrue a full season of being kept... WITH ONE EXCEPTION: If a keeper is dropped AND clears waivers, it will reset that player’s keeper ‘clock’, making them available to be kept 3 more seasons. Any player who has been kept 3 consecutive seasons cannot have their service time reset even IF they clear waivers.

DRAFT DETAILS

Rounds 3 through 6 are ‘Keeper Rounds’. Your first keeper comes out in round 6 (or pick), 2nd in round 5 (or pick), 3rd (or pick) in round 4, 4th (or pick) in round 3. In order to shift the KR from 1-4 to 3-6, we shift rounds 5 and 6 (and all the picks that were traded) to rounds 1 and 2. Draft order is predetermined based on random order and will be determined PRIOR to the draft as soon as the league fills (I use random.org’s list randomizer – and save screen caps if ever needed). I do this to allow folks to use their draft position as a tradable commodity prior to keeper deadline.

We are 100% SERPENTINE, including Keeper Rounds. AS WELL, since all ‘termed’ players have their service clock reset going into the draft, they can drafted by anyone in any round with no restrictions. If you want to keep 3 or less and take a chance that one of these studs will fall to round 3, go for it. All of this reorg and changes will make things easier for me to manage.

FUTURE PICK TRADING

I am going to limit the number of trades that can be made that include swapping of picks to three (3). Of course you can have multiple picks traded inside a deal and its only going to count as one. Three separate deals. TRADES OF FUTURE DRAFT PICKS WILL REQUIRE PREPAYMENT OF LEAGUE FEES IN ADVANCE FOR THE 2025 SEASON. THESE FEES WILL BE DUE WITHIN ONE WEEK AFTER A TRADE IS PASSED.

USING RELIEVERS
Don't start more than 3 relievers per day, regardless if it is a P or SP spot. If you start a reliever in an SP spot, then you can only start 2 other relievers that day. Sometimes a starter comes in due to a rain delay or whatever and I DO take that into account. Multiple day violations mean I have to calculate and adjust the points accordingly. It sucks. This is a gentlemen’s rule and while I have had to call folks on it before, it generally works well. It’s in place to avoid overvaluing a player just because of a shift to the pen. FP/IP is considerably more for relievers. Please adhere to this!

FINAL DAY OF SEASON RULE

On the final day, no more stacking your lineup with 7 starters. P slots (this day only) will be enforced to only include relievers. This will limit folks to starting only 4 SP that day, and no starters will be allowed in the P slots. Just the final day! Feel free to load up on any other day.
