  • It was the closest NCAA Tournament Bracket Challenge in recent memory as four different outcomes were possible during Final Four weekend. At the end, no upset bids by Houston or Purdue in the end means everyone who picked Connecticut to win came out ahead.

    Congratulations to Vinh's Team for winning his fourth NCAA Tournament Bracket Challenge with his Vinh's Victorious Bracket and for having the only bracket with the correct score of 75 for this year's Champion Huskies!

    The four other top brackets this year are from Crackattack, Loading..., and Oh-Trouty who all had Connecticut as this year's winner. All four will receive immunity towards NBA Keepers League Season 17, MLB Keepers - 2025 Season, and NFL Keepers League Season IX.

  • Thanks again for everyone's votes, the two Not Active (NA) spots will not be allowed this season. Policing of the NA spot protocols will commence this Easter Sunday 3/31. As the honor system is now in effect, please correct your rosters and make any needed adjustments if you happen to find yourself in violation during this grace period. There were a total of 9 violations in the NBA Keepers League that resulted in a one week freeze on any transactions for the team owner in violation. This level of enforcement made some not want to play anymore. Lesson learned.

    The penalty is only catch and release of the most recently added player in the MLB Keepers League this season, if a team's NA spot is used to increase its roster capacity. However, if the violations get out of hand, a vote can be called to increase the level of enforcement at a mutually agreed-upon level.

  • Was told that this is not something I've decided unilaterally in the past without a league-wide vote, especially after the draft had already taken place where some team owners would have drafted differently with two Not Active (NA) spots in place prior to the draft.

    To that end, please vote on whether you want to include the two Not Active (NA) spots this season. As I am not able to change the two NA spots back to zero until the beginning of MLB Keepers - 2025 Season, a No vote would mean the two NA spots will be disallowed using the same honor system that was previously present in the NBA Keepers League in 2021. An anonymous tip line would be available to report a violation of the NA spot protocols. No additional punishment other than the Commissioner would be allowed to drop the most recent player added to a team as a result of a violation.

    We'll tally up the votes for the MLB Keepers League on 3/27/24 and will keep the two NA spots going forward if a majority who vote, approve.

  • The reverse was true for Hawaiian Islands, since he traded picks in Rounds 4, 5, 8 and 9 to West Coast Ballerz last season, not the other way around. Had to drop an equivalent level talent for the draft pick trade in each round, so the only available option was J.T. Realmuto, Bryan Reynolds, Dansby Swanson, and Nathaniel Lowe.

  • Missing keepers lists from Crackattack, Dingleberry, Jessica's Unrivaled Team, Pedro's Team, The Trump Onion Loaf, and West Coast Ballerz.
    Also, need a 7th round level player ranked between 1-140 and a 25th round level player ranked between 1-500 from Hawaiian Islands to satisfy last season's draft pick trades. Please send me an email or message of who you would like to keep from your respective teams by Saturday, March 23rd at 9AM PST. If any other team owner would like to make changes to their keepers, please let me know by then as well. I will post a link to an online Excel schedule with a list of everyone's keepers and the draft order ahead of the draft this Saturday. Thanks!

  • All Keeper league teams and interested team owners have an open invitation to compete in this year's NCAA Tournament Bracket challenge. The top 4 brackets will gain immunity in all leagues for one whole year, which is the same as making the playoffs in any Keeper League. NCAA games will start on Thursday, March 21st.

  • Welcome to the MLB Keepers League.

    For returning teams, please assign keeper players by Wednesday, 3/20/2024. Rosters can be found at My Team Choose Keepers. Links to set keepers for each team are listed below.

    Returning teams may keep their entire roster with the exception of teams that traded a draft pick last year. Teams that traded a draft pick to improve on last year's roster cannot keep one of their players rated at the round traded away. For instance, in a 20 team league, a team that traded away its 10th round pick must drop a player rated between 1-200. It would be that team's choice to decide who not to keep. Please keep this in mind when you set your keeper lists. If a team with draft picks traded away forgets, the commissioner will select the lowest ranked player to remove from a team's keeper list to satisfy the draft pick trade as a last resort.

    The draft pick given up per keeper player will be based on this year's Yahoo! Player rankings as of 3/20/2024 and the final number of teams in the league. There will be 26 rounds total. If your team has two keeper players in the same round, the draft pick surrendered will be one round later:

    The draft order will not snake and all new players will draft ahead of the returning teams.

    The Draft order will be:
    1. New Teams (by earliest date joined to latest)
    2. Returning Teams without Keepers (by worst order of finish last year to best)
    3. Returning Teams with Keepers (by worst order of finish last year to best. Keeper League Champ drafts last in all rounds)

    At the conclusion of this season, teams who finish in the bottom two will receive the boot and forfeit their entire teams to free agency unless immunity is gained by either making the playoffs in the NFL Keepers League, the NBA Keepers League, by having an in-season MLB draft pick trade that must be honored in the following season, or by finishing with a top four bracket in the NCAA Tournament Bracket Challenge.
