As a reminder, this is a DYNASTY league in the true sense, The League is named after two baseball legends- Leroy "Satchel" Paige & George "Babe" Ruth (2 men I would have LOVED to have seen face off against each other). You keep at least 15 players & a maximum of 20 player. This DOES include N/A prospects (of which you may hold up to 5; NA's CAN count towards keeper count the following year). During the draft, I would suggest picking up at least 1 potential/listed N/A prospect so you may add them & others with no real issues (IF you didn't keep one. The divisions are broken into two places- Satchel- (Shoeless Joe, even numbered finishing place) Jackson division & the Ruth-(Willie Mays, odd numbered finishing teams) division.

As it relates to MLB prospects, those who are NOT IN YAHOO's available player pool are ineligible to be claimed or drafted. This is regardless of them being under contract or not. I figured this would be a given but due to a recent spat in another league, I feel the need to make this clear. If someone can't draft a player who is not in the Yahoo player list, then why should it be possible that we should reverse this in the free agent settings? Frankly, I won't put that much effort into this. I've played Yahoo fantasy since 2001 & had always assumed this was a given. I take nothing for granted going forward & need to make this clear 100%.

Draft is in order of finish (worst to first, snake draft). I will get that posted within the next week or so. Keepers are due no later than March 10, 2023. IDEALLY, I’d like to draft on a Saturday (open) or Sunday evening but open to a weekday evening. March 17, 2024 (8 pm, CDST) is the current.

Please review the settings. If you see something otherwise in the league settings but isn't listed here, that means we changed it last year (+= known stat change). Stats will remain as follows. There has been some give & take but found a happy middle ground

I have maxed out the DL/IL slots. If COVID gets ugly again, I will add roster slots (should Yahoo allow me to do that) so IL/DL/COVID players will go. IDEALLY, if you max out of DL slots due to COVID, here's my thought. Once your DL is full w/ players, move the non-COVID players to the bench (should I be able to do so. I figure better safe than sorry. Also, 5 N/A slots will be used. If you want up to 7, I’m open to that.

Draft order: Dirty Mike, Spitz, 77’s, FTB, Muderers Row, Special Ops, Vin Scully, Diamond D, The Natural, Chargers
