League Rules

Everyone starts with a budget of 300$
You can sign up to 4 players per season ( 3 players at a max of 3 yrs and 1 player at a max of 5 yrs )
You sign a player based on the price you paid during the auction draft.
You may also sign a player that you acquired via trade ( only if the player was drafted by the other manager )
You can not sign a player that you picked up as a free agent.
If you drop a player at any time during the season , you can not sign that player to a contract.
All keepers must be posted on the league chat by the end of the MLB post-season.
If at any time you want to drop a player that you have under contract , it will cost you half of his contract for the remaining years on his deal. The player then becomes a free agent and is avail. on the wire and in the following seasons draft.
When a players contract is over , you may re-sign him to a second contract at a cost of Yahoo projection + 10$. If the original contract was 1-3 years you can resign a max of 3 years if it was 4or5 years max is 5.
You can only sign a player to a max of 2 contracts , potentially keeping a player for a total of 11 seasons
Also to be clear , if a player who was drafted or also a player who is under contract gets dropped , the rest of the league will be able to pick up his contract or hold on to his signing rights only via a waiver claim. Not if at any point the player becomes a free agent.
