So I have sent Plate a note stating he will not be back next season. It was hard to do but it is in the best interest of the league.We have recruited someone else to take his spot and his invite has been sent to take over the team. RTTC Leaguemates,
I hope everyone checks in later today and reads this. What I am going to do is open waivers up tomorrow so managers can make transactions. Managers may NOT add players today Saturday the 30th and in order for that to happen I am going to lock managers from adding players today and will release the lock at 10:00 AM EST. This will allow managers to make adjustments to their roster before Opening Day on Monday. Managers have until tonight to respond if they do not like this decision. Majority to the NAY is only way I will not enact this for Opening Day.

I have gone over the RTTC Constitution in a very detailed manner and have made verbage updates that I feel better explain the league's policies. There has been no policy additions made as nothing was brought up during this past offseason. I would suggest that everyone read the whole thing over but if nothing else at least skim through it just to see what what is different in the verbage that you're not aware of. There are a few reasons I made updates to the RTTC Constitution. First, it was a little outdated. As stated in previous RTTC seasons, as Yahoo adds features to their platform that allow the league's activity to be conducted on Yahoo, those policies that can be transferred will be transferred over to the Yahoo platform. Those updates have been made in the RTTC Constitution. Secondly, I have decided that this will be my last season as Commissioner of the RTTC. I am still going to play in the RTTC I have just decided that it is time for someone else to take the reigns. I thank you all for taking part in this league and letting me be your RTTC Commissioner. Because of you all the league has become one of the best leagues out there. And because of you all, league policies have been made in the RTTC that make it an exciting league to play in every year. That is where I feel turning the reigns over to a new Commissioner will help make the league even better. A fresh approach to the top job in fantasy baseball I feel will benefit the league for years to come. I would like you all to congradulate Jake becoming the new RTTC Commissioner in 2014. He has been Co-Commissioner since last season and I feel the hand over of RTTC Commissioner duties to Jake is the right choice for the league going forward. In the RTTC Constitution there has been a policy put in place for the RTTC Commissioner. I have implemented this policy w/o league approval for just one reason. The RTTC is my baby and I reserved the right to make sure the core of the RTTC Constitution remains intact. I suggest you read that part if anything. It is nothing major or worrisome. I just wanted to make sure that the RTTC Commissioner follows through with the RTTC guidelines.
One thing I'd like to add....the posting on the message board recently has been a little more hostile than I'd like to see. If we all could tone it down some and keep posts more civil that'd be great. I know some of you don't mind the verbal jabbing but I just want to make sure things don't get out of hand....thank you everyone.

Also in a thread I will create please put what date and timeframe works for you so I can narrow the date down. Remember, keepers are due 1 week before the draft so if the draft date is moved up other things get moved up as well.
