Several issues.
1. Who is for reducing the amount of ADD/DROPS for next year?
2. Rule for next year.
One time during the season you can get 10 extra ADD/DROPS. It has to be no later than 2 week before end of the regular season and you must be totally out ADD/DROPS. It will cost you 20 ADD/DROPS from the next year.
3. Who would like to reduce the roster size to 19? It is currently 20.
4. Who would like to increase the roster from 20 to 21?
5. Who would like to increase the IL for 3 to 4?

There is a 35 inning pitched minimum. What this means is if you do not have at least 35 innings pitched for the week regardless of how many of the pitching categories you are winning you will forfeit all pitching categories. This means you will lose 11 categories and have an automatic loss for the week.

CHANGES 2023 FANTASY BASEBALL LEAGUE

1. Each team receives 80 ADD/DROPS for the season.
2. Each team that makes the playoffs receives only 9 ADD/DRODs for the playoffs only if they have at lease 9 ADD/DROPS left. If you do not have 9 ADD/DROPs at the end of the season you will only receive that number of ADD/DROPs for the playoffs.
3. Managers must attend the first 5 rounds of the draft. Any manager that does not attend the first 5 rounds of the draft will be docked 30 ADD/DROPS. This would leave a given team with only 50 ADD/DROPS for the season. If a team’s roster is filled before the 5 rounds then the manager may leave the draft with no penalty.
4. Unlimited Predraft trades however only 1 trade between each team.
5. Roster reduction to 20 players per team. Roster Positions: C, 1B, 2B, 3B, SS, LF, CF, RF, Util, SP, RP, P, P, BN, BN, BN, BN, BN, BN, BN, IL, IL, IL, NA, NA
6. Keepers; Managers may keep 7 batters or 7 pitchers not to exceed a total of 10 players. If a team make at least 2 predraft trades the team may keep up to 12 players.
7. The IL will be reduced to 3.
8. Regular Season trades increased to 10
9. Remaining Draft funds will transfer from last year. A team will receive ½ of their remaining draft funds not used from last year and added to this year’s draft funds this year not to exceed $50.

League Rules

Each manager is responsible himself/herself for knowing the rules and how the league works. If there are any questions please ask.

SOMETHING TO KEEP IN MIND
This is a KEEPER League that AUCTION Drafts. There are 2 different funds given, funds for Keepers and funds for Drafting. Both are separate from each other. The Keeper funds given are $200. The Draft funds are $100.



Players, Positions, and Requirements

Each team will have a total Active roster of 20 players. The starters every night C, 1B, 2B, 3B, SS, LF, CF, RF, Util, SP, RP, P, P. The Bench will be comprised of 7 players BN, BN, BN, BN, BN, BN, BN, also 3 IL and 2 N/A.

Draft, Keepers, and Draft Funds

The draft is an Auction Draft. Each manager is given $100 to draft with. Each team will be comprised of 20 players. Each manager may keep up to 7 pitchers, 7 batters not to exceed 10 player total. Each Player has a Keeper Dollar Value placed on them. The value is set by Yahoo. Each manager is given $200 to use for their keepers. If a given manager goes over the $200 keeper limit with the keepers they have chosen the overage will be ducted from their draft funds. However, if a manager has any funds left ½ of the excess keeper funds will be added to their draft funds.
Remember: if you trade at least 2 players predraft you can have 10 keepers, 2 trades totaling 12 players.
Keepers, Dates, Draft
Being that this is an AUCTION DRAFT the draft order is randomly chosen by Yahoo.
Please remember to set all keepers correctly by the posted date. All keepers will be forfeited if not set correctly by the posted date. Setting correctly means no more than 7 pitchers and no more than 7 batters NOT TO EXCEED 10 TOTAL KEEPERS. (Yahoo is not able to pick your keepers for you they will all be forfeit if set wrong.

Remember if you trade at least 2 players predraft you can have 10 players as keepers 2 Trades for a total of 12 players.

Draft Bonus

Each team receives 3 additional ADD/DROP ALLOWED (THIS IS CONTENGENT ON YOU HAVING ENOUGH ADD/DROPs LEFT AT THE END OF THE SEASON) for the playoffs if you attend the entire draft. In addition you will have 80 ADD/DROPS for the regular season also. You may however leave the draft once you have filled your roster. If this is as early as the 5th round you have filled your team you are not required to stay in the draft any longer you at that time can leave if you want HOWEVER YOU WILL NOT RECEIVE THE 3 ADD/DROP PLAYOFF BONUS.

Pre-Draft Trade

What is a pre-Draft Trade? This is a trade made before the draft occurs. The trade must to be declared and accepted by both managers on the message board by the specified date. I have to manually put the traded players on each team according to the posted trade. The advantage to a Pre-draft trade is it will neither count as one of your keepers nor will it count against your draft or keeper funds.
Example: a player’s keeper cost is $30.00 it will not cost anything if you traded for this player and you will have 1 less player you have to draft. A player may only be traded 1 time and you may only trade 1 player for 1 player. Each manager may only trade with every other manager 1 time. There is unlimited predraf
