    • Evan Phillips quiets Rockies to collect ninth save
      Evan Phillips tossed a perfect ninth inning on Saturday against the Rockies to collect his ninth save of the season.

      Advice: Phillips got the call to protect a three-run lead in the final frame and required just 11 pitches (seven strikes) to slam the door. The 29-year-old righty picked up his first save since returning from the injured list ahead of Friday’s series opener and remains one of the better closing options in the entire fantasy landscape.       Megill (elbow) threw a perfect inning while striking out three Saturday against the White Sox.

      Advice: Megill appeared in the seventh inning in a tied game. Megill was struck on the right elbow by a comebacker in Tuesday's loss to the Cubs. X-rays came back negative, but he still needed a few days off. It looks like he's back to full speed and should step back into the closer mix despite appearing earlier in the game Saturday.       Phillips pitched a perfect inning and struck out one to earn the save in Saturday's 4-1 win over the Rockies.

      Advice: This was Phillips' first appearance in nearly a month due to a hamstring strain. He looked rust-free, throwing 11 pitches (seven strikes) to set down the bottom of the Rockies' order for his ninth save of the season. Phillips has a 0.61 ERA, 0.95 WHIP and 18:4 K:BB over 14.2 innings, and he's yet to take a blown save this year. It doesn't appear he'll be eased into the closer role again, not that he needs to be handled with kid gloves considering his track record in high-leverage spots over the last two years.       Harper went 2-for-3 with a two-run home run, a walk and three total runs scored in Saturday's 6-1 win over the Cardinals.

      Advice: Harper provided the Phillies with extra breathing room, taking St. Louis reliever John King deep in the seventh inning. Over the previous 10 games, Harper took a small step back, batting .257 (9-for-35) with three home runs and seven RBI to close out May. Following his second consecutive multi-hit game, he's batting .276/.381/.538 with 14 homers, 44 RBI, 35 runs scored and three stolen bases over 54 contests this season.     • Trevor Megill (elbow) returns to action Saturday
      Trevor Megill (elbow) returned to action on Saturday and looked no worse for the wear, striking out all three batters that he faced in a scoreless inning against the White Sox.

      Advice: It wasn’t a save chance, as it was the seventh inning of a game where the Brewers trailed 3-1, but it was nice to see Megill look as dominant as ever after taking a scary line drive off of his arm during Monday’s game.       Cronenworth went 2-for-5 with a double, a run and three RBI in an 11-8 win over Kansas City on Friday.

      Advice: Cronenworth was a key part of San Diego's nine-run eighth inning, knocking in the first two runs of the frame with a single and capping the outburst with an RBI double. The pair of base knocks were much-needed for the second baseman, as he had just one hit over his previous 14 at-bats prior to the big inning.
