    • Racks up three hits
Mountcastle went 3-for-5 with a double, one RBI and two runs scored in Monday's 11-3 win over the Red Sox.

Advice: Mountcastle has hit safely in his last six games, going 11-for-25 (.440) in that span. During the streak, he has a double in four of those six games, though he's added just two RBI and has not hit a home run since May 8. Nonetheless, the first baseman is putting together a strong campaign with a .280/.317/.468 slash line, six homers, 20 RBI, 28 runs scored, 15 doubles, one triple and two stolen bases over 47 games. • Chisholm Jr. homers, steals base Monday
Jazz Chisholm Jr. went 2-for-4 with a stolen base, a double, and a solo home run against the Padres on Monday.

Advice: The home run was Chisholm Jr.’s eighth and the stolen base was his 10th. He’s 27-for-95 (.284) in the month of May and his average is up to .265 on the season with a .792 OPS. Chisholm provided all of the offense for the Marlins as they lost to the Padres 2-1. Rotoworld Yesterday, 6:26 pm
    • Making rehab start Wednesday
Williams (elbow) will begin a rehab assignment with Triple-A Columbus on Wednesday, Mandy Bell of MLB.com reports.

Advice: Williams had faced hitters a couple times recently without issue and has now been cleared to pitch in games. The young right-hander has been battling right elbow discomfort since spring training and experienced a setback in late April, but he's trending in a good direction now. It's been nearly three months since Williams last started a game, so his rehab assignment could take a while. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 12:08 pm

    • Gavin Williams will start in Triple-A on Wednesday
According to Guardians manager Stephen Vogt, Gavin Williams (elbow) is expected to start for Columbus on Wednesday.

Advice: The 24-year-old former top prospect was close to a rehab assignment in late April but felt renewed elbow discomfort and was shut down again. He’s been built back up to around 50 pitches in his last few bullpen outings, so he will likely need three or four starts in Triple-A to increase his pitch count before the team feels comfortable activating him. If his start goes well on Wednesday, it might be the time to stash Williams if you have an open IL spot. Rotoworld Yesterday, 12:03 pm

    • Lars Nootbaar day-to-day with hamstring issue
Cardinals manager Oli Marmol said Lars Nootbaar is “day-to-day” with a hamstring strain.

Advice: Marmol said that the team believed that keeping Nootbaar out of the lineup on Sunday and Monday is “the smart thing to do,” but they “don’t see it lingering.” That provides some optimism that Nootbaar could make it back in the middle of this week; however, hamstring injuries are known to linger so fantasy managers in weekly lineup lock leagues could decide to play it safe and sit Nootbaar this week. • Remains out Monday
Nootbaar (hamstring) remains out of the lineup for Monday's game in Cincinnati.

Advice: Nootbaar was a late scratch from Sunday's lineup due to a hamstring issue. With tough left-hander Nick Lodolo on the mound for the Reds on Monday, it makes sense to hold Nootbaar out again. Cincinnati does another another southpaw scheduled to start Tuesday in Andrew Abbott, so it's possible Nootbaar could remain out until Wednesday. For what it's worth, Cardinals manager Oliver Marmol said Monday of Nootbaar's injury that "we don't see it lingering," per John Denton of MLB.com. Dylan Carlson will be in right field Monday. • Braves active Sean Murphy for Monday return
Braves activated C Sean Murphy from the 10-day injured list.

Advice: It’s been a long wait, but Murphy is back. The veteran catcher played just one game for the Braves this season before injuring his oblique. He’s been hitting the ball well on his rehab assignment and throwing out baserunners, which shows his readiness to step back behind the dish. With Travis d’Arnaud playing well while Murphy was out, it’s likely that the Braves use a timeshare at catcher for the next few weeks, so fantasy managers who have d’Arnaud can maybe hold on a bit longer. That’s especially true given the injury to Ronald Acuna Jr. could mean Marcell Ozuna plays some outfield and d’Arnaud or Murphy could DH on occasion. Rotoworld Yesterday, 8:13 am

    • Activated from injured list
Atlanta activated Murphy (oblique) from the 10-day injured list Monday, David O'Brien of The Athletic reports.

Advice: Murphy missed more than eight weeks with a Grade 1 left oblique strain but is finally ready to rejoin Atlanta's lineup. He looked sharp during a four-game rehab stint with Triple-A Gwinnett, batting .278 with two home runs. Murphy will probably be eased back into primary catcher duties for Atlanta, as the club is keeping Chadwick Tromp around as a third catcher behind Murphy and Travis d'Arnaud for the time being. He is starting Monday's game, batting fifth against Mitchell Parker and the Nationals. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 7:28 am

    • Delivers two RBI in win
India went 1-for-4 with a stolen base, two RBI and a run scored in Sunday's 4-1 win over the Dodgers.

Advice: India helped the Reds sweep the weekend series against the Dodgers by delivering a two-out, two-run single as part of Cincinnati's four-run third inning. He then swiped his fifth base, putting himself in scoring position to cross the plate on a Nick Martini single. India went 4-for-10 in the three-game sweep with two extra-base hits and six RBI.
