    • Slugs 13th homer Sunday
Rooker went 1-for-5 with a solo home run in an extra-inning loss to the Blue Jays on Sunday.

Advice: Rooker squared up for his 13th homer in the sixth inning, a 436-foot shot that cut a 2-0 deficit in half. The veteran outfielder has hit safely in three straight games, and he's now popped nine extra-base hits and driven in 12 runs over his last 19 contests on his way to an .851 OPS in that span. • Collects third win
Garcia (3-0) struck out one in a perfect inning Sunday to pick up the win over Oakland.

Advice: The Blue Jays won 6-3 in the 10th inning, handing Garcia the victory after he preserved the tie in the ninth. The right-hander has either a win or a save in four straight appearances, and he's been Toronto's next high-leverage option this season, posting a 2.08 ERA, 0.69 WHIP and 34:7 K:BB through 26 innings with nine holds and four saves in addition to his three wins. • Timely hit against Twins
Joe went 1-for-5 with a triple and two RBI on Sunday against the Twins.

Advice: Joe delivered his lone hit of the game in the fifth inning to give the Pirates a brief lead. He has five RBI and seven runs scored across his last 10 games, though that production has primarily come due to timely hitting as he is just 7-for-38 overall in that span. Joe remains a near everyday player for Pittsburgh, playing primarily in right field against right-handed pitching while shifting to first base against lefties. Rotowire.com Today, 6:42 am

    • Jump-starts win
Semien went 1-for-3 with a home run, two RBI, a stolen base and an additional run scored in Sunday's 7-2 win over San Francisco. He was also hit by a pitch.

Advice: Semien was integral as the Rangers built an early 5-0 lead after two innings. He was hit by a pitch to lead off the bottom of the first, stole second base, then came home on Wyatt Langford's single. An inning later, Semien deposited a first-pitch slider into the stands in left for a two-run home run. He's reached base safely in nine straight games, going 11-for-31 (.355) with seven walks, two homers, three RBI and eight runs scored. Rotowire.com Today, 6:14 am

    • Swats home run Sunday
Cabrera went 1-for-3 with a solo home run in Sunday's 6-4 win over the Dodgers.

Advice: Cabrera opened up the scoring with a solo home run off the right field foul pole in the third inning. It was his first home run since May 1 and his first extra-base hit since May 5. He started off the year cooking at the plate but has cooled off considerably and now finds himself in a depth role with the return of DJ LeMahieu to the lineup. For the year, Cabrera is slashing .238/.278/.360 with five homers, 22 RBI, 20 runs and a 10:33 BB:K in 176 plate appearances. Rotowire.com Today, 3:41 am

    • Lourdes Gurriel Jr. drives in two in win over Pads
Lourdes Gurriel Jr. went 2-for-5 with a double and a pair of RBI on Sunday as the Diamondbacks throttled the Padres in San Diego.

Advice: The 30-year-old outfielder smacked a two-run double off of Adam Mazur in the second inning and rode home on Jake McCarthy’s two-run blast. He also singled in the fourth inning and raced around to score on a two-out RBI single by Eugenio Suarez. With his two-hit attack, Gurriel is now hitting .247/.287/.405 with nine homers, 39 RBI and three swipes on the season. Rotoworld Yesterday, 5:21 pm
    • Brent Rooker goes deep in loss to Blue Jays
Brent Rooker blasted his 13th home run of the season on Sunday afternoon, but it wasn’t enough to lead the Athletics past the Blue Jays.

Advice: Rooker got the A’s on the board with his 436-foot (110.0 mph EV) solo shot on the first pitch that he saw from Nate Pearson in the sixth inning. That would be his only hit in five at-bats on the day. For the season, the 29-year-old slugger is slashing a respectable .270/.356/.541 to go with his 13 long balls and 40 RBI. • Max Kepler has two hits, RBI in win over Pirates
Max Kepler went 2-for-5 with a walk and an RBI in a win over the Pirates on Sunday.

Advice: Kepler had two hits on the day but his two hardest-hit balls of the day were both 106 mph lineouts. The 31-year-old is now slashing .258/.322/.426 on the season with four home runs and 22 RBI in 46 games for the Twins this season. He will sit against left-handed pitching which can put a damper on his fantasy appeal, but he has enough of a five-category skill set to be rostered in all 15-team leagues and even some shallower ones. • Needs third rehab start
Cole (elbow) said after Sunday's rehab outing with Double-A Somerset that he'll require at least one additional rehab start, Chris Kirschner of The Athletic reports. The right-hander allowed one run on two hits with four strikeouts and no walks over 4.2 innings.

Advice: Cole threw 44 of 57 pitches for strikes in his second rehab appearance Sunday as he continues building up his workload while coming back from nerve irritation in his elbow. The 33-year-old is trending toward a season debut in late June at the latest, though an exact return date won't come into focus until it's determined how many rehab outings are necessary.
