    • Extremely efficient versus Yankees
Crawford (5-7) earned the win Sunday against the Yankees after tossing seven shutout innings while allowing just four hits. He struck out four.

Advice: Crawford was incredibly efficient Sunday night, needing just 68 pitches to coast through seven frames while throwing 54 strikes. Crawford's never pitched into the eighth before, and while he certainly could've based on pitch count, manager Alex Cora decided to turn to the bullpen for the final six outs. Crawford contributed to shutting out the Yankees offense for the first time since April and now owns an 11:0 K:BB over his last 13 innings after back-to-back starts without issuing a walk. The 28-year-old now owns a 3.24 ERA, 1.07 WHIP and 106:28 K:BB in 105.2 innings and will look to finish out the first half strong as he prepares to face the Royals at home in a weekend series. • Little run support in loss
Cease (7-8) took the loss Sunday against the Diamondbacks, allowing three runs on five hits and a walk while striking out eight over seven innings.

Advice: All three runs scored against Cease came from the long ball. Corbin Carroll opened up the game with a solo home run and then Eugenio Suarez put the Diamondbacks ahead with a two-run blast in the seventh. Cease has now given up four homers over his last two starts and has given up 14 in 14 starts dating back to April 27. He has a 5.11 ERA over that span, though that also comes with an elite 11.7 K/9. For the year, the 28-year-old owns a 4.21 ERA, 1.10 WHIP and 128:33 K:BB in 109 innings. He lines up to face Atlanta at home this weekend. Rotowire.com Today, 6:16 am
    • Crumbles in ninth
Kopech (2-8) allowed four runs on two hits and two walks against Miami on Sunday. He was charged with a blown save and a loss.

Advice: Kopech entered the ninth inning with a 4-3 lead but quickly gave it up on a Josh Bell RBI double. Two batters later, Jake Burger would crush a walk-off three-run homer. Kopech hadn't blown a save chance since June 13 but is now just 8 for 13 in opportunities this season. His ERA jumped to 5.45 with a 51:23 K:BB through 38 innings. John Brebbia could begin to push for more ninth-inning work; he threw a scoreless eighth inning Sunday and has given up just two runs over 16.1 frames since the start of June. • Kutter Crawford goes seven scoreless to beat Yanks
Kutter Crawford delivered a brilliant performance in Sunday night’s victory over the Yankees, scattering four hits over seven scoreless innings of work.

Advice: The 28-year-old right-hander punched out four batters on the evening and didn’t walk a batter. He needed just 68 pitches (54 strikes) to get through his seven innings. Crawford has never pitched into the eighth inning in his big-league career though, and the Red Sox trusted their bullpen to get the final six outs. Crawford generated nine whiffs on the night while posting an elite CSW of 38 percent. He’ll attempt to finish the first half strong as he carries a stellar 3.24 ERA, 1.07 WHIP and 106/28 K/BB ratio (105 2/3 innings) into Saturday’s matchup against the Royals. • Dylan Cease gives up two homers in defeat
Dylan Cease yielded three runs in seven innings Sunday in a loss to the Diamondbacks.

Advice: The runs came on longballs from two players who had totaled two and six homers while serving as regulars all year long. He’s given up 14 homers in his last 14 starts, resulting in a 5.11 ERA even though he has an impressive 103/22 K/BB ratio in 79 1/3 innings over that span. There’s no reason he can’t bounce back with a big second half, but there’s also no good reason he isn’t already pitching better. Rotoworld Yesterday, 4:47 pm
    • Provides offense in loss
Caballero went 1-for-3 with a two-run home run in Sunday's 13-2 loss to the Rangers.

Advice: Caballero's homer briefly gave the Rays a 2-1 lead in the third inning before the Rangers scored nine runs over the next two frames. The utility infielder isn't known for his power, but he has two homers over his last five games. For the year, he's slashing .241/.301/.369 with six homers, 24 RBI, 38 runs scored and 24 stolen bases across 274 plate appearances. Caballero will likely see most of his playing time against left-handed pitchers, mainly serving as a platoon option in the middle infield. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 4:38 pm

    • Gets walked off Sunday
Hader (3-5) took the loss Sunday against the Twins, allowing a solo home run without recording an out.

Advice: Hader entered with the game tied at 2-2 in the bottom of the ninth. He served up a solo shot to Christian Vazquez, which gave the Twins the walk-off win. This is the fourth time in six outings that Hader has given up a run -- all of which have been on homers -- though he hasn't taken a blown save since April 2. He's at a 4.15 ERA, 1.05 WHIP and 61:11 K:BB through 39 innings while converting 15 of 16 save chances this season. Since his missteps have rarely resulted in trouble so far, Hader's security as the Astros' closer remains high, but his recent struggles with the long ball are reminiscent of his awful second half of 2022, which is at least worth keeping an eye on for fantasy purposes. • Earns fourth win
Duran (4-3) earned the win Sunday over the Astros, allowing a hit and a walk while striking out one over a scoreless inning.

Advice: Duran was tasked with keeping the game tied at 2-2 in the ninth inning, and he got the job done. He then earned the win when Christian Vazquez walked it off for the Twins with a solo home run in the bottom of the frame. Duran has dialed in with 11 scoreless outings over his last 12 appearances, allowing just two runs with a 10:3 K:BB in that span. For the year, the closer has a 3.25 ERA, 1.01 WHIP and 25:9 K:BB through 27.2 innings while converting 13 of 14 save chances and adding one hold. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 3:29 pm

    • José Caballero homers in loss
José Caballero went 1-for-3 with a two-run home run in a loss to the Rangers on Sunday.

Advice: Caballero took Nathan Eovaldi deep for a two-run hot, accounting for the only runs the Rays would score on the day. The 27-year-old now has six home runs and 24 RBI on the season, but his fantasy value comes courtesy of his 24 stolen bases. As long as he keeps playing most of the games in Tampa Bay, his speed will give him fantasy value. Rotoworld Yesterday, 2:31 pm
