      David Hamilton went 2-for-4 with a two-run homer in leading the Red Sox to an 8-6 win over the Phillies on Wednesday.

      Advice: It’s Hamilton’s fourth straight two-hit game, and he’s now hitting .296/.348/.472 for the season. His Statcast numbers aren’t nearly as strong as his actual line, but the improved power from what he showed in the minors is impressive. Both of his hits tonight left the bat at 104-105 mph.       Bobby Witt Jr. went 3-for-5 with a double, two runs scored, and two RBI against the Yankees on Wednesday.

      Advice: Witt Jr. extended his hit streak to 13 games with a double in the sixth inning to drive in the first run of the game for the Royals. He then scored on a sacrifice fly by Salvador Perez. Witt Jr. drove in a second run with a single in the seventh before scoring on a bases loaded walk by Perez. The 23-year-old shortstop collected his third hit with an infield single in the ninth, ending his day slashing .326/.375/.563 with 11 homers, 58 runs scored, 50 RBI, and 19 steals across 307 plate appearances.       Bobby Witt Jr. went 1-for-4 with a double and an RBI against the Yankees on Monday.

      Advice: Witt Jr. hit a ground ball in the right spot down the third base line, which he turned into a double while driving in a run. He also scored the game-tying run in the ninth, reaching on a double off Tanner Banks and stealing third base before scoring on a sac fly by Reese McGuire.       David Hamilton homered in the fifth and doubled and scored the tying run in the ninth as the Red Sox came back to beat the Red Sox 6-4 on Sunday.

      Advice: Hamilton doubled off Tanner Banks, stole third and then scored on a sac fly to even the game at 4-4. The Red Sox then pulled ahead on a Jamie Westbrook sac fly in the 10th. Hamilton’s defense at shortstop is lacking and the 25% strikeout rate isn’t great, but he’s been quite good in hitting .282/.339/.436 with 13 steals in 127 plate appearances for the Red Sox.       Hamilton started at shortstop and went 2-for-4 with a stolen base in Saturday's 6-1 loss to the White Sox.

      Advice: Hamilton got the start at shortstop, as Ceddanne Rafaela was needed in Boston's short-staffed outfield. Tyler O'Neill's balky knee will keep him out of Sunday's series finale, which likely means another start for Hamilton. He's stolen three bases over the last two games and has 12 over 40 games.       Advice: De La Cruz reached on a single in the fifth and proceeded to swipe his MLB-leading 34th bag. After going six straight games without a steal, he now has a swipe in back-to-back games as he continues his torrid pace on the basepaths.
