      Mets manager Carlos Mendoza said Tuesday that Marte (knee) will be sidelined for "at least four weeks," Mike Puma of the New York Post reports.

      Advice: Marte will be shut down for 15 days to allow a right knee bone bruise to heal and will need time to ramp things back up after that. A rehab assignment at some point before activation seems likely. Ben Gamel replaced Marte on the roster and could see some reps in right field, although DJ Stewart and Tyrone Taylor should be higher in the pecking order.       Advice: It’s a significant loss for the Mets as Marte finally landed on the injured list ahead of Tuesday’s series opener against the Yankees after playing through a right knee issue for an extended period. The 35-year-old veteran corner outfielder has been diagnosed with a bone bruise and Mendoza indicated that it’ll be at least one month before he’s ready to return.       Garcia went 2-for-4 with a solo home run and a walk in Monday's loss to the Brewers.

      Advice: Garcia gave the Rangers a 3-1 lead with his sixth-inning blast, though the advantage was wiped out on a Rhys Hoskins grand slam in the bottom of the frame. As with Hoskins, Garcia's homer ended an extended power drought -- the outfielder hadn't gone deep in any of his past 17 games and had driven in just one run during that span.       Paxton allowed three hits and three walks while striking out six batters over five scoreless innings in a no-decision against the White Sox on Monday.

      Advice: Paxton needed 91 pitches to get through five frames, so he wasn't able to record a third straight quality start or hang around long enough for Los Angeles' offense to supply him a run. Nonetheless, the veteran left-hander was very effective, and he flashed some of the swing-and-miss stuff of his peak seasons with 18 whiffs. Since giving up a season-high seven runs (six earned) over 1.2 innings versus Pittsburgh in his first start of June, Paxton has surrendered just two runs across 18 frames over his subsequent three outings.       James Paxton allowed no runs in five innings and got a no-decision in the Dodgers’ 3-0 victory over the White Sox on Monday.



      Advice: Paxton gave up three hits, walked three and struck out six. He had won his last two starts, but the Dodgers couldn’t score any runs to support him. It was still a good effort from Paxton, who lowered his ERA to 3.39 in the process. The 35-year-old left-hander is set to face the Giants on the road this weekend.

      Advice: Ramirez opened the scoring in the first inning with an RBI-single before launching his 20th home run of the season off Orioles starter Cade Povich in the sixth. Ramirez continues to be active on the basepaths, notching his fourth steal over the past week.       Advice: Ramírez kicked off the scoring during Monday’s series opener at Camden Yards with a run-scoring single in the opening before delivering a go-ahead solo shot -- his 20th round-tripper of the season -- off Orioles rookie southpaw Cade Povich in the sixth inning. The 31-year-old fantasy stalwart has been the model of consistency for nearly a decade at this point and has shown zero signs of slowing down at all. He’s been on a roll over the last few weeks, batting .317 (38-for-120) with 11 homers and eight steals over his last 30 games.
