    • Sharp in win
Rodriguez (6-2) picked up the win Monday against Toronto, allowing two runs (one earned) on seven hits and zero walks while striking out four over 6.2 innings.

Advice: The only earned run allowed by Rodriguez was a solo home run by Vladimir Guerrero in the fourth inning. The 24-year-old set a new season-best with 6.2 innings pitched Monday, turning in his fifth quality start of the season. Rodriguez has found his groove over his past five starts -- in that span, the right-hander owns a 2.16 ERA and 31:12 K:BB in 29.1 innings. Rodriguez will look to keep rolling in his next start, currently scheduled for this weekend in Tampa. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 11:43 pm
    • Rodriguez picks up sixth win Monday
Grayson Rodriguez allowed two runs (one earned) in 6 2/3 innings and got the win in the Orioles’ 7-2 victory over the Blue Jays on Monday.

Advice: The win was Rodriguez’ sixth of the season. He gave up seven hits, walked none and struck out four. The Blue Jays scored on an RBI triple by Daulton Varsho and a solo home run by Vladimir Guerrero Jr. Rodriguez has allowed more than three runs in only two of his 10 starts this season. His ERA is now 3.28 on the year. The 24-year-old right-hander is set to face the Rays on the road this weekend. Rotoworld Yesterday, 6:43 pm
    • Eyeing return next week
Manager Carlos Mendoza said Monday that Alvarez (thumb) won't join the Mets for their two-game series in London with the Phillies this weekend, but the catcher could be ready to return from the 10-day injured list June 11 for the start of the club's homestand, Anthony DiComo of MLB.com reports.

Advice: On the shelf since April 20 with a fractured left thumb that eventually required surgery, Alvarez is closing in on a return after he initiated a rehab assignment with Double-A Binghamton this past weekend. He made three starts at catcher with Binghamton and went 2-for-8 with a home run and two walks, but the Mets want him to pick up more reps in the minors before he comes off the IL. Alvarez is likely to either stick around at Binghamton or shift his assignment to Triple-A Syracuse in the coming days, and if he escapes without any setbacks, he should settle back in as the Mets' primary backstop beginning next week. • Francisco Alvarez (thumb) won’t return this week
The Mets have decided against activating Francisco Alvarez in time for this weekend’s series in London.

Advice: Alvarez has thus far played in three rehab games as he returns from a torn thumb ligament, going 2-for-8 with a homer. The Mets believe it makes more sense for him to stay in the U.S. and continue his rehab than to go to London for two games in five days. If all goes well, Alvarez could be activated next Tuesday. • Knocks three hits in loss
Soler went 3-for-4 with a double and two runs scored in Sunday's 7-5 loss to the Yankees.

Advice: This was Soler's first multi-hit effort since May 22, and he went just 4-for-27 over the eight contests in between. The 32-year-old briefly got a look at leadoff in May, but he's since returned to the middle of the Giants' order. He's yet to find a groove for any extended period in 2024, slashing .215/.294/.372 with six home runs, 16 RBI, 22 runs scored and eight doubles over 48 contests. Rotowire.com Sunday, 9:04 pm

    • Collects three hits in loss
Bellinger went 3-for-4 with a double and an RBI in Sunday's 5-2 loss to the Reds.

Advice: Bellinger played well, but the rest of Chicago's lineup could muster only five hits overall, which limited his ability to collect counting stats. The 28-year-old is batting .318 over his last 10 games with a home run, four runs scored and five RBI. If Bellinger gets more support from his teammates, he could really take off across the board, though he should have plenty of fantasy value either way given his ability to hit the ball over the fall and swipe a base on occasion. • Streak reaches 14 games
Seager went 3-for-4 with a walk and a run scored in Saturday's 7-0 win over Miami.

Advice: The calendar flipping from May to June did nothing to slow down Seager. After posting a 1.047 OPS during May, Seager extended a hitting streak to 14 games on the first day of the new month. He's 19-for-51 (.373) with nine home runs, 14 RBI and 11 runs scored during the streak. Rotowire.com Sunday, 7:05 am

    • Goes yard in Saturday's win
Hayes went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run and a second run scored in Saturday's 8-1 win over the Blue Jays.

Advice: The third baseman took Yusei Kikuchi deep in the first inning, helping to kick-start what proved to be a laugher for the Pirates. It was only Hayes' second long ball of the season and his first in three games since recovering from back issues and coming off the IL. The 27-year-old had has a rough start to the campaign, but he could be rounding into form now that he's healthy. Rotowire.com Sunday, 4:11 am

    • Cruises to victory Saturday
Miller (5-5) earned the win over the Angels on Saturday, allowing three hits and issuing one walk while striking out nine batters over six innings.

Advice: The score was close early on, but a four-run fourth inning for Seattle put Miller on cruise control. The right-hander racked up 13 whiffs en route to his nine punchouts, which tied his second-highest total of the season. Miller has earned the win in each of his last two starts following a stretch of six outings between April 24 and May 22 during which he went 0-4. Rotowire.com Saturday, 10:38 pm
