    • Up to 11 saves
Doval earned the save in Saturday's 3-1 win over Texas, working around a hit and a walk in a scoreless ninth inning.

Advice: Things got dicey for Doval in the ninth, as the Rangers got the tying runs into scoring position with two outs. However, the right-hander would coax a flyout off the bat of Leody Taveras to lock down his 11th save of the year and his second in as many days. The 26-year-old Doval lowered his ERA to 3.91 with a 1.58 WHIP and 31:18 K:BB across 25.1 innings this season. Rotowire.com 57 minutes ago
    • Swanson has three hits in loss Saturday
Dansby Swanson went 3-for-4 with a walk, two doubles and an RBI against the Reds on Saturday.

Advice: Swanson brought his average up to .220 with the three-hit effort. He’s following up a down season last year, when he hit .244, with even worse production this year. His 27 percent strikeout percentage would be the highest of his career and his .147 ISO would be the lowest. Maybe Saturday is the start of a turnaround for Swanson, but there haven’t been a lot of positives for him this season. Rotoworld Today, 4:07 pm

    • Camilo Doval locks down 11th save vs. Rangers
Camilo Doval tossed a scoreless ninth inning to earn the save against the Rangers on Saturday.

Advice: Doval was summoned with a two-run lead to close out the game in the ninth. He walked the leadoff man and gave up a single to bring the go-ahead run to the plate with one out. He induced a groundout and a fly out to end the game and secure the win for the Giants, picking up his 11th save. Rotoworld Today, 3:49 pm
    • Juan Soto (forearm) could wind up on the 10-day IL
Yankees’ manager Aaron Boone told reporters on Saturday that there’s a possibility superstar outfielder Juan Soto winds up on the 10-day injured list with his forearm injury.

Advice: As of now they’re taking things day-to-day, but Boone has already said that Soto won’t play this weekend and his status for Monday’s series opener against the Royals in Kansas City remains in the air. If he’s not ready by then, expect the Yankees to utilize a short stint on the injured list. Rotoworld Today, 1:58 pm

    • Remains out Saturday
Soto (forearm) isn't in the Yankees' lineup for Saturday's game against the Dodgers.

Advice: Soto will miss a second consecutive game since making an early exit from Thursday's contest. The Yankees are optimistic that the slugging outfielder will be able to avoid a trip to the injured list, but manager Aaron Boone said Saturday that it will likely be a few more days before Soto gets back into the lineup, per Bryan Hoch of MLB.com. In the meantime, Trent Grisham will continue to start in center field while Aaron Judge fills the void in right. Rotowire.com Today, 1:00 pm

    • Juan Soto remains out Saturday with forearm injury
Juan Soto (forearm) remains out of the lineup for Saturday’s highly-anticipated showdown against the Dodgers.

Advice: Soto will miss his second straight contest on Saturday evening after being held out of Friday’s series opener against Los Angeles due to left forearm inflammation. The positive news here for fantasy managers is that it sounds like the 25-year-old fantasy superstar isn’t facing an extended absence after additional testing didn’t reveal any ligament damage or other structural issues. However, it’s a tough development since this is shaping up to be one of the most exciting regular-season series of the year. He’s presumably day-to-day for now. Rotoworld Today, 12:42 pm

    • Andrés Muñoz available in relief this weekend
Andrés Muñoz (back) is available for Saturday’s game against the Royals.

Advice: Muñoz has been dealing with a back strain that he tweaked during an on-field collision earlier this week and appears ready to return this weekend after getting through a couple bullpen sessions without any issues. Rotoworld Today, 11:56 am

    • Josh Jung (wrist) resumes taking batting practice
Josh Jung (wrist) has progressed to taking batting practice.

Advice: Jung was cleared to resume swinging a bat back in late May, so it’s a positive sign he’s taking regular batting practice again. The 26-year-old has been brought along slowly in his rehabilitation from early-April surgery on his right wrist. The hope is that he’ll be ready to return at some point in late June or early July. There is no official timetable at this juncture, but he should be getting close to starting a minor league rehab assignment. Rotoworld Today, 10:55 am

    • Getting rest Saturday
Springer is not in the starting lineup for Saturday's game against the Athletics.

Advice: Springer went 0-for-4 in the series opener Friday, and he has failed to register a hit over his last three games. The 34-year-old is slashing .202/.292/.305 with five home runs and 13 RBI over 243 plate appearances this season. With Springer out of Saturday's lineup, Daulton Varsho and Davis Schneider will occupy right and left field, respectively, while Spencer Horwitz makes his 2024 debut at second base against Oakland right-hander Luis Medina.
