    Advice: Siani opened the scoring with a fifth-inning homer off Miami starter Braxton Garrett. Siani has hit safely in eight of his 15 games in June, but he hasn't posted a multi-hit effort since May 20. The outfielder is up to two homers, 10 RBI, 17 runs scored, seven stolen bases and a .210/.257/.283 slash line through 157 plate appearances. Siani sat out against the last two southpaws the Cardinals have faced, so he appears to be slipping into a strong-side platoon role in center field, with Dylan Carlson picking up at-bats versus lefties.     Advice: Happ's seventh-inning, three-run homer snapped a 3-3 tie and appeared to give the Cubs a comfortable advantage, but the Giants scored three runs in the ninth to pull out the win. Nonetheless, Happ continued to break out of his recent slump -- over his past three contests, he's gone 6-for-9 with two homers, six RBI and three walks.     De La Cruz went 1-for-5 with a three-run homer in Monday's 7-6 extra-innings loss versus the Cardinals.

    Advice: The 27-year-old's only hit in this game was a big one, as he tied the score at 4-4 with a three-run blast off JoJo Romero in the eighth inning. De La Cruz is already up to 12 homers in 2024 after he totaled 19 long balls in 153 games last year. The power production helps offset De La Cruz's underwhelming .242/.295/.416 slash line.     Greg Jones hit his first major league homer as a pinch-hitter Monday against the Dodgers.

    Advice: Jones, a longtime Rays prospect, took fellow former Rays pitcher JP Feyereisen deep tonight. It’s Jones’ first hit in five at-bats since his callup 11 days ago. The Rockies, who are suffering for their utter inability to manage a 40-man roster, have given Jones just one start since calling him up from Triple-A.     Chisholm went 2-for-2 with a triple, an RBI, a run scored, and three walks in Monday's 7-6 extra-innings loss to the Cardinals.

    Advice: Chisholm drove in the Marlins' first run with a two-out triple off Sonny Gray in the sixth inning. The Cardinals couldn't retire Chisholm in any of his five plate appearances, and he drew three walks in a game for just the second time in his career. The center fielder extended his modest hitting streak to six games, and he sports a .266/.336/.449 slash line with 10 home runs, 35 RBI, and 13 steals on the year.
