    • Day off Saturday
Mullins is not in the starting lineup Saturday versus Tampa Bay.

Advice: Mullins will get a breather after going 1-for-12 with a triple, two RBI and a run scored while starting the last four games. Colton Cowser will slide over to center field while Kyle Stowers enters the lineup in left field and bats eighth against the Rays. Rotowire.com Today, 9:21 am

    • Hit hard in Friday's loss
Maeda (2-2) took the loss Friday as the Tigers fell 7-3 to the Red Sox, coughing up five runs on eight hits and two walks over 4.2 innings. He struck out six.

Advice: It could have been a lot worse for the veteran right-hander. While five of the eight hits he surrendered went for extra bases, three of them were doubles high off the Green Monster that nearly left Fenway Park completely. Maeda took a big step back after blanking the Blue Jays over five innings in his first start off the IL back on May 24, but Friday's performance was more in line with his 2024 campaign so far. Maeda will take a 6.25 ERA, 1.41 WHIP and 30:12 K:BB through 40.1 innings into his next outing, which lines up to come on the road next week against the Rangers. Rotowire.com Today, 5:41 am
    • Swipes first bag of 2024
Hayes went 1-for-4 with an RBI and a stolen base in Friday's 5-3 extra-innings loss to the Blue Jays.

Advice: The steal was his first of the year, after he'd swiped 30 over the prior two seasons combined. Hayes missed most of May with back trouble, which could help explain his lack of activity on the basepaths, and Friday's single was his first hit of any kind since May 5. The third baseman has a disappointing .237/.318/.311 slash line through 36 games with one homer and 12 RBI, but if he can stay healthy he's capable of heating up over the summer. • Triples, drives in four
Marte went 2-for-4 with a triple, four RBI, a run scored and a walk in Friday's win over the Diamondbacks.

Advice: Marte ripped a bases-clearing triple in the first inning and followed it up with an RBI single in the fourth. After a 3-for-19 slump over nine games, he closed out May with three straight multi-hit performances. Marte boosted his slash line to .271/.321/.407 with nine steals, 23 RBI and 28 runs scored through 216 plate appearances. Rotowire.com Today, 4:58 am

    • Picks up steal in win
Rojas went 1-for-3 with a hit-by-pitch, a stolen base and a run scored in Friday's 5-4 win over the Angels.

Advice: Rojas has logged two steals over his last four games, giving him six thefts on the year. He was one of the Mariners' top hitters early in May, but he's gone a poor 6-for-47 (.128) over his last 15 contests, though three of the hits in that span have been doubles. Rojas' slump has him down to a .276/.345/.408 slash line with three home runs, 10 RBI and 17 runs scored across 168 plate appearances. He's on the strong side of a platoon at third base, with Dylan Moore often checking in at the hot corner versus southpaws. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 11:00 pm

    • Kenta Maeda struggles in loss to Red Sox on Friday
Kenta Maeda struggled in Friday night’s loss to the Red Sox, giving up five runs on eight hits over his 4 2/3 innings.

Advice: On the plus side, Maeda was able to punch out six batters on the night while allowing just two walks. He was able to keep the Red Sox off the board through the first three innings, but they broke through for four runs in the fourth inning — including a three-run blast off the bat of Ceddanne Rafaela. Maeda got 11 swings and misses on 85 pitches on the evening, registering a CSW of 28 percent. He’ll look to improve upon a troublesome 6.25 ERA, 1.41 WHIP and a 30/12 K/BB ratio (40 1/3 innings) when he toes the slab against the Rangers in Arlington on Wednesday. Rotoworld Yesterday, 6:42 pm
    • Sitting Friday
Stanton is not in the starting lineup for Friday's game against the Giants.

Advice: Stanton has struggled of late, going 1-for-20 with eight strikeouts over his last five games, and his slash line is down to .225/.275/.471 for the season. Trent Grisham will start in center field Friday while Aaron Judge serves as the designated hitter against Giants right-hander Jordan Hicks. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 4:05 pm

    • Idle Friday
Mcneil is out of the lineup for Friday's game against the Diamondbacks.

Advice: McNeil will get a day off Friday after appearing in four games across the last three days. Righty-hitting Jose Iglesias will make his Mets debut, batting eighth and playing second as southpaw Jordan Montgomery takes the mound for Arizona Rotowire.com Yesterday, 12:09 pm

    • Steals ninth bag
Marte went 2-for-4 with a stolen base in Thursday's win over the Diamondbacks.

Advice: The veteran outfielder ended a 12-game drought on the basepaths while recording his second straight multi-hit performance. Marte is batting .333 (10-for-30) over the last 12 games, a hot streak that has boosted his slash line on the season to .267/.314/.395 with six homers, nine steals, 19 RBI and 27 runs in 52 contests.
