      Advice: Semien got the Rangers on the board with an RBI double in the fifth inning and added a two-out, two-run single in the ninth, but the comeback fell short. This was his third multi-hit effort in June, though it was his first since June 3. The second baseman is slashing .265/.330/.438 with 11 home runs, 40 RBI, 50 runs scored and three stolen bases over 69 contests this season.       Jared Jones allowed six runs over his 4 2/3 innings while picking up a loss to the Rockies on Saturday.

      Advice: Jones was not great, and the Pittsburgh bullpen allowed 10 more runs to score in a 16-4 blowout loss to the Rockies. The right-hander gave up six hits, and he also walked four on a night where the command just wasn’t there for the 22-year-old. He still was able to strike out six, and his rookie campaign has certainly been a success even with a couple of so-so outings as of late.       Kirby (6-5) allowed an unearned run on three hits and two walks while striking out six over six innings to earn the win Saturday over the Rangers.

      Advice: This was Kirby's first time issuing multiple walks since his season debut, as he continues to have some of the best control in the majors. The right-hander has allowed two or fewer runs in each of his last four starts after a pair of five-run outings in mid-May. He's now at a 3.54 ERA, 1.01 WHIP and 84:9 K:BB over 86.1 innings through 15 starts this year. Kirby is projected to make his next start at Miami in a highly favorable matchup. He contributed a solo shot in the first inning, a three-run blast in the second and an RBI single in the third as the Tigers jumped out to a 10-0 lead. His sixth RBI of the day came on a bases-loaded walk in the eighth. The outfielder has driven in 12 runs during his six-game hitting streak and he's batting .321 (17-for-53) in June. The 23-year-old is up to 14 homers, 36 RBI, 48 runs scored, three stolen bases and a .256/.348/.488 slash line through 69 contests overall as he continues to cement himself as a building block for the Tigers during their ongoing rebuild.       Marcus Semien went 3-for-4 with three RBI in a loss to the Mariners on Saturday.

      Advice: Semien got the Rangers on the board with an RBI double off George Kirby to make it 4-1 Mariners. In the top of the ninth, the star second baseman drove in two more, but the Rangers still trailed 7-5 after that one.       George Kirby didn’t allow an earned run while working six innings to get a win over the Rangers on Saturday.

      Advice: He did allow an unearned run, and it’s worth pointing out he was the one who made the error. Kirby walked two, which makes this the first game since March 29 that the right-hander has walked more than one hitter in a game. The right-hander made up for it by striking out six in another strong start for the 26-year-old. Kirby has now allowed just four runs in his last four starts, and his ERA has lowered to 3.54, and his career ERA against Texas is a sparkling 1.08.       Advice: Greene didn’t hit for a ton of power last year while recovering from a shoulder injury, so there was a narrative that he was more of a slap hitter, but that was never the case. The 23-year-old is now up to 14 home runs on the season to go along with 36 RBI and a .836 OPS. He looks to be in the midst of a full-on breakout and has a bright fantasy future ahead of him.       Red Sox’ manager Alex Cora told reporters on Saturday that Wilyer Abreu (ankle) is now sprinting at full speed.

      Advice: The 24-year-old outfielder is expected to be ready for a minor league rehab assignment early next week, and should only need a couple of games to get his timing back before he’s ready to rejoin the Red Sox’ lineup.
