    • Launches clutch three-run homer
Gimenez went 1-for-3 with a three-run homer and an additional run scored in Wednesday's 6-3 win over the Mets.

Advice: Gimenez provided a key blast in Cleveland's comeback victory, ripping a three-run homer off Jose Quintana with two outs in the sixth inning to tie the game 3-3. While the long ball was Gimenez's lone hit in the three-game series, he's gone 14-for-39 (.359) with three homers in his last 10 contests. The 25-year-old second baseman is now slashing .266/.327/.386 with four homers, 30 RBI, 28 runs scored and seven steals across 47 games this season. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 2:21 pm
    • Andrés Giménez laces three-run homer in victory
Andrés Giménez hit a three-run homer in the bottom of the sixth Wednesday in the Guardians’ 6-3 defeat of the Mets.

Advice: The Mets took a 3-0 lead in the fourth today, but the Guardians did all of the scoring after that. The homer off Jose Quintana was Giménez’s fourth of the year. He’s still not hitting the ball like he did two years ago, but that his strikeout rate is down to 14% has helped him bat .266 and hitting second for the Guardians has given him a nice boost in runs scored (28) and RBI (30). • Jhoan Durán gives up homer before earning save
Jhoan Durán picked up his fourth save Wednesday despite giving up a homer in the ninth against the Nationals.

Advice: The homer from Joey Meneses led off the ninth in a two-run game. The next batter singled, at which point Dave Martinez put in speedy Rule 5 pick Nasim Nuñez to run. Martinez, though, just couldn’t help himself and still gave away an out to have Ildemaro Vargas bunt Nuñez over when Nuñez most likely could have stolen the base on his own. Apparently, he was really expecting Joey Gallo to deliver a game-tying single. Durán retired the next two batters to end the game. Rotoworld Yesterday, 1:36 pm

    • Holds on for fourth save
Duran picked up the save in Wednesday's 3-2 win over the Nationals despite allowing a run on two hits in the ninth inning. He struck out one.

Advice: Called upon to protect a two-run lead in the ninth, Duran got off to a rocky start, surrendering a leadoff homer to Joey Meneses followed by a Luis Garcia single. However, following a sac bunt that moved Garcia into scoring position, Duran struck out Joey Gallo before inducing a game-ending groundout from Keibert Ruiz to close out a 3-2 win. While he was able to escape with the save Wednesday, Duran's been shaky recently, allowing homers in three consecutive outings and five runs over 2.2 innings in that span. He now has four saves with a 4.66 ERA, 1.03 WHIP and 10:3 K:BB across 9.2 innings to start the year. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 1:11 pm

    • Takes seat Wednesday
O'Neill is absent from the lineup for Wednesday's game in Tampa Bay.

Advice: O'Neill is getting a routine day off after starting in the last five games and 13 of the previous 14 contests. Rob Refsnyder will serve as the Red Sox's designated hitter, with Jarren Duran and Wilyer Abreu covering the corner-outfield spots. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 12:23 pm
    • Rings up ninth save
Miller recorded his ninth save in Tuesday's win over the Rockies, striking out the side in a perfect ninth inning.

Advice: Miller mowed through the trio of Jordan Beck, Charlie Blackmon and Ezequiel Tovar on 16 pitches, retiring each on swinging strikes to close out the one-run win. It was Miller's first save opportunity since April 30, as well as his 15th straight scoreless appearance. The flamethrowing right-hander hasn't allowed so much as a single since April 25 as well, and his trio of strikeouts Tuesday pushed his K/9 and swinging strikeout rate figures to an astounding 18.1 and 23.7 percent, respectively, across 20.1 innings. • Goes deep again Tuesday
McMahon went 1-for-4 with a two-run homer in Tuesday's loss to the Athletics.

Advice: McMahon kicked off the scoring with a two-run blast in the first inning off of Aaron Brooks for his only hit of the evening. He's now upped his hitting streak to nine games and is slashing .378/.310/.676 with three homers, seven RBI and nine runs scored. He's maintained an average north of .300 for the majority of the season thus far and is currently riding a streak of 19 consecutive plate appearances without striking out. • Shaky results in no-decision
Javier did not factor into the decision in Tuesday's win over the Angels, allowing four runs on eight hits and three walks while striking out one over four innings.

Advice: Javier's night got started off on the wrong foot after surrendering a two-run blast to Luis Rengifo in the opening frame. The Angels then got to him for two more runs in the fourth on a trio of hits, which included an RBI-double from Zach Neto. It was a very discouraging performance after Javier put together his best start of the season his previous outing against the A's. After the game, he cited his struggles due to poor mechanics, though he's now given up 11 runs on 13 hits and seven walks while striking out just one batter in 5.1 innings in his two starts surrounding his gem against Oakland. The 27-year-old now owns a 3.89 ERA, 1.41 WHIP and 27:19 K:BB in 34.2 innings and lines up to face Seattle next week. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 4:44 am
    • Finds power in win
Alvarez went 2-for-4 with a solo home run and a walk in Tuesday's 6-5 win over the Angels.

Advice: Alvarez went back-to-back with Kyle Tucker in the first inning for his first home run since May 9. After slumping a bit earlier this month, his bat has heated back up. Alvarez now has at least a hit in 10 of his last 12 games and is slashing .340/.404/.553 with three RBI, seven runs and a 5:11 BB:K over that span. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 4:36 am
