    • McNeil has two hits Saturday
Jeff McNeil went 2-for-4 with a run scored, two RBI, a walk and a stolen base against the Marlins on Saturday.

Advice: McNeil gave the Mets a sizable lead as his two-run single made it a 7-2 game in the fifth inning. It was a good game from the former batting champion, but he’s having a brutal season so far with a .239 average and only one home run.

    • Returning to lineup
Nimmo (illness) is starting in left field and batting third Saturday against the Marlins.

Advice: A stomach bug has kept Nimmo from starting the Mets' last two games, but the issue seems to have subsided prior to Saturday's contest. The 31-year-old outfielder has been in a bit of a slump at the plate lately, logging just one hit -- a two-run homer -- in 14 at-bats across his last five games. Rotowire.com Today, 10:24 am

    • Brandon Nimmo returns to lineup on Saturday
Brandon Nimmo (illness) is back in the lineup for Saturday’s game against the Marlins.

Advice: Nimmo is back in New York’s lineup in left field and batting third following a two-game absence due to a stomach bug. The interesting twist here is that Francisco Lindor is up in the leadoff spot with lefty Braxton Garrett taking the hill for Miami. Rotoworld Today, 10:10 am

    • Swipes two bags Friday
Bogaerts went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases Friday in a 3-1 win against Atlanta.

Advice: Bogaerts doubled his season stolen-base total with a swipe of second in each of the fifth and eighth innings. Prior to Friday, the second baseman's most recent theft took place April 22. Bogaerts has had a subpar start to the season with a .220/.268/.319 slash line through 194 plate appearances, but he's begin to come on of late, batting .350 with two homers and two RBI during his current five-game hitting streak. • Secures fourth save
Fairbanks struck out one in a perfect ninth inning Friday to record his fourth save of the season in a 4-3 win over the Blue Jays.

Advice: The right-hander needed only six pitches (five strikes) to dispatch the heart of Toronto's order, setting down Bo Bichette, Vladimir Guerrero and Justin Turner. Fairbanks still isn't quite flashing his usual velocity -- he topped out at 97.3 mph with his fastball Friday after averaging 98.9 mph in 2023 -- but he hasn't seemed to miss the extra gear since coming off the IL, firing four straight hitless, scoreless appearances with a 6:0 K:BB. • Xander Bogaerts swipes two bases against Braves
Xander Bogaerts collected two singles and two steals versus the Braves on Friday.

Advice: The least struggling hitters can do is steal a few bases for those rostering them in fantasy leagues. Bogaerts doubled his steal total for the season tonight, collecting two in a game for the first time since last May 5. He now has 12 two-steal games in his career, which is kind of impressive because he has just 81 career steals. He has only eight two-homer games, though he’s totaled 179 homers in his 12 seasons. • Tallies hit in return
India went 1-for-4 and scored a run during Friday's loss to the Dodgers.

Advice: India had missed the last two games due to migraines, but the issue subsided ahead of Friday's contest, allowing him to return to the leadoff spot in Cincinnati's lineup. During his first game back, the 27-year-old infielder singled in the fourth inning and came around to score the Reds' first run of the game, though Cincinnati's offense was ultimately unable to keep up with the Dodgers. India is now 11-for-48 (.229) with one RBI since the beginning of May. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 9:42 pm

    • Peter Fairbanks earns fourth save on Friday
Peter Fairbanks worked a clean ninth inning striking out one Blue Jays on Friday for his fourth save.

Advice: Fairbanks finally saved his first game since returning from the IL. He’s allowed no earned runs with six strikeouts across four innings and looks back to his normal, dominant self. Rotoworld Yesterday, 7:51 pm
    • Triple, home run in win
Henderson went 2-for-5 with a solo home run, an RBI triple and a second run scored in Friday's 9-2 win over the Mariners.

Advice: Henderson led off the game with a solo shot off Bryce Miller, his 13th homer of the year, before driving in a second run with an opposite-field triple in the seventh inning. While Henderson's gotten off to a great start this year, he'd been slumping a bit coming into Friday's contest, going 0-for-11 in his prior three games. Overall, the 22-year-old shortstop is slashing .263/.339/.569 with 29 RBI, 32 runs scored and six steals across 189 plate appearances this season. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 7:09 pm
