      Advice: Gausman needed 107 pitches to record 13 outs, allowing season highs in runs (seven) and walks (five) while being tagged for three extra-base hits including a first-inning Aaron Judge two-run blast. Gausman did strike out seven batters to represent the fourth time this season he's reached at least seven in an outing, but that's nothing more than a minor silver lining around Sunday's ugly performance. It's the fifth time this season Gausman has allowed at least five runs in a start, and he closes the month of June with a 5.64 ERA over 36.2 innings spanning six starts. Both runs Crochet allowed came in the second inning when the Rockies scored on a balk and a sacrifice fly. Otherwise, he dominated with 11 strikeouts and now has a 3.02 ERA on the season. Crochet continues to make his case for the American League Cy Young award. In his last 11 starts, he has a 1.48 ERA, 0.84 WHIP and 94 strikeouts in 66 2/3 innings. The 25-year-old left-hander is set to face the Marlins on the road next weekend.

      Waldron (5-7) took the loss Sunday against the Red Sox. He gave up four runs (three earned) on six hits, one walk and three strikeouts over 4.1 innings.

      Advice: Waldron was plagued by the long ball, as he allowed two homers in a start for the first time this season. He snapped a streak of nine straight starts in which he allowed two runs or fewer.
