• Stellar vs. White Sox
Turnbull (2-0) earned the win Friday against the White Sox, allowing one hit and two walks over seven scoreless innings. He struck out six.

Advice: Turnbull held Chicago without a hit through six innings, eventually allowing a lone one-out single to Gavin Sheets in the seventh en route to a 7-0 Phillies victory. Turnbull has been a revelation in Philadelphia so far this season, holding opponents scoreless in three of his first four starts. The 31-year-old right-hander lowered his ERA to 1.23 with a 0.77 WHIP and 22:7 K:BB across 22 innings. Turnbull is currently on track for a road matchup with the Reds in his next outing. • Dean Kremer gives up pair against Royal
Dean Kremer was charged for three runs in 5 2/3 innings of work while picking up a loss to the Royals on Friday.

Advice: Kremer allowed just two hits, but he also walked three with only three strikeouts while throwing 50-of-91 pitches for strikes. He was able to hold Kansas City scoreless for the first three innings, but he allowed a solo homer to Vinnie Pasquantino in the fourth, and two more runs were charged to his account in the sixth. Kremer was better than his awful start Saturday against Milwaukee, but he was nowhere close to dominant. He gets the Angels next. Rotoworld 18 minutes ago

  • Alec Marsh blanks Orioles into sixth inning
Alec Marsh didn’t allow a run while striking out six over 5 2/3 innings against the Orioles on Friday to pick up a victory.

Advice: Marsh allowed just three hits with two walks. The right-hander gave up just one extra-base knock — a double by Antony Santander — in what was one of the best starts of the 25-year-old’s career. Marsh has now made two starts against Baltimore this year, and he’s allowed one run over 12 2/3 innings in those outings. He’ll try and replicate this success against the Blue Jays next week. • Chris Sale strikes out seven in win over Rangers
Chris Sale pitched seven innings of three-run ball in a victory over the Rangers on Friday.

Advice: The leadoff homer from Marcus Semien seemed ominous, but Sale had the slider worked tonight and used it 40 times with a 45% CSW in the 89-pitch outing. He’ll take a 2-1 record and a 4.38 ERA into his next start versus the Marlins. Rotoworld 19 minutes ago

  • Andrew Heaney gives up two homers to Braves
Andrew Heaney yielded three runs in five innings Friday in a no-decision against the Braves.

Advice: Travis d’Arnaud hit two of his three homers off Heaney to ruin the left-hander’s night. Still, this wasn’t a bad showing, considering the opponent. He’ll be a decent play in mixed leagues with a start against the Mariners next on the schedule. His rotation spot likely will come into jeopardy next month if Max Scherzer and Cody Bradford returned when hoped. Rotoworld 19 minutes ago

  • Moves into rotation
The Rockies announced Friday that Lambert will enter the starting rotation while Kyle Freeland (elbow) is on the injured list, Patrick Lyons of JustBaseball.com reports.

Advice: Lambert failed to make the Rockies' rotation out of spring training, but Freeland's injury will give the 27-year-old righty another opportunity. Lambert has appeared in six games this year, surrendering three earned runs across 11.2 innings while striking out 10 batters and walking six. He's in line to make his first start in the second game of Sunday's doubleheader versus Seattle. Rotowire.com 20 minutes ago

  • Falls to Cincinnati
Anderson (2-2) took the loss Friday against the Reds, allowing two runs (one earned) on three hits and three walks over seven innings. He struck out two.

Advice: Anderson was sharp Friday, holding Cincinnati to an unearned run in the second inning before Tyler Stephenson homered in the sixth. However, the Angels could only muster a lone run off Nick Lodolo before the Reds broke the game open against the bullpen, sticking Anderson with a second straight loss. The left-hander has gone seven innings in three of his first four starts this year, posting an impressive 1.42 ERA with a 0.95 WHIP and 14:9 K:BB after struggling to a 5.43 ERA in 25 starts last season. Anderson will look to snap his brief losing streak in his next outing, currently slated for next week against Baltimore. Rotowire.com 24 minutes ago

  • Peter Lambert moving to Rockies’ starting rotation
Rockies’ manager Bud Black announced Friday that Peter Lambert will take the injured Kyle Freeland’s spot in the team’s starting rotation.

Advice: Lambert has done a decent job out of the Rockies’ bullpen this season, registering a 2.31 ERA, 1.46 WHIP and a 10/6 K/BB ratio over 11 2/3 innings of work. Noah Davis — who was recalled from Triple-A Albuquerque on Friday — will take over Lambert’s long-relief role. Rotoworld 34 minutes ago

  • Brayan Bello shuts out Pirates for six in victory
Brayan Bello tossed six scoreless innings, allowing just one hit, as the Red Sox topped the Pirates 8-1 on Friday.

Advice: Bello struck out seven and walked two while completing six innings for the first time in five starts this season. He’s now 3-1 with a 3.04 ERA and a 26/7 K/BB ratio in 26 2/3 innings. Next up is a start in Cleveland against the Guardians. Rotoworld 39 minutes ago
