      Advice: Even in pitcher-friendly Petco Park, Pfaadt was tagged for a season-high three home runs. He gave up back-to-back solo shots to Fernando Tatis and Jurickson Profar in the first inning and also yielded a two-run blast to Ha-Seong Kim in the sixth. This was the third start in a row where Pfaadt has given up four or more runs. He's now at a 4.60 ERA, 1.14 WHIP and 76:15 K:BB through 78.1 innings across 13 starts.       Advice: Rodgers came up limping after running to first base during the fourth inning of Friday's game and had to be replaced on the basepaths by Alan Trejo. It isn't immediately clear what is causing Rodgers trouble, but the Rockies will evaluate him in their clubhouse and should provide some more information shortly.       Willson Contreras told reporters that he expects to return from his forearm injury before July.

      Advice: Machado sustained a mild right hip flexor strain Wednesday against the Angels, and the 31-year-old will sit again Friday. While he didn't start in the series opener against Arizona on Thursday, Machado did pinch hit for Kyle Higashioka in the eighth inning and grounded out to the pitcher.
