    • Corbin Burnes solid for six in downing White Sox
Corbin Burnes allowed three runs over six innings Friday in a no-decision against the White Sox.

Advice: He struck out six and walked two. This season has not seen Burnes at his absolute best, but neither has he faltered at any point; he still hasn’t allowed more than three runs or pitched fewer than five innings in any of his 11 starts. His next turn will come against the Red Sox. It’s the only team he’s completed seven innings against this year, doing so in a 7-1 victory on Apr. 9. Rotoworld Yesterday, 11:16 pm
    • Craig Kimbrel earns save after near-miss homer
Craig KImbrel picked up his 11th save with a perfect ninth against the White Sox on Friday.

Advice: Sort of perfect anyway, given that it took Colton Cowser robbing Tommy Pham of a homer to end the game. Still, even if that ball had managed to get over Cowser’s glove in center, Kimbrel did have another run to play with. It goes as Kimbrel’s sixth straight hitless and walkless appearance. • Carlos Correa goes 2-for-4 against Rangers in win
Carlos Correa went 2-for-4 with a double against the Rangers in Friday’s win.

Advice: Correa’s single checked in at 113.9 mph, making it his hardest-hit ball of the season by three mph. The double was pretty good, too; it was hit 390 feet and would have been a homer in 16 parks, according to Statcast. Correa is at .276/.366/.466 in 134 plate appearances this season. It’s not thrilling, but it is very good in a year in which offense is down. Rotoworld Yesterday, 10:05 pm

    • Slams door for save
Kimbrel struck out one batter in a perfect inning and earned a save over the White Sox on Friday.

Advice: Kimbrel needed just six pitches to finish off the 6-4 victory in quick fashion. After a shaky stretch, he's riding a 5.2-inning scoreless streak. During that span, he's gone 1-0 with three saves and two holds. The veteran closer dropped his ERA to 3.32 and has converted 11 of his 14 saves this season. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 8:53 pm
    • Yields three runs
Burnes allowed three runs on seven hits and two walks over six innings in a no-decision Friday. He struck out six during the win over the White Sox.

Advice: Burnes fired four shutout frames before the White Sox finally broke through with a three-run fifth innings. He forced 14 whiffs and has produced double-digit swinging strikes in eight of his 11 starts this season. The 29-year-old right has allowed three or fewer earned runs in each of his 11 outings, resulting in an impressive 2.60 ERA through 65.2 innings. Burnes will take a 66:17 K:BB into his next outing, which is lined up at home against Boston. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 8:33 pm
    • Christian Scott allows two runs in six innings
Christian Scott threw six innings on Friday and allowed two earned runs while striking out four and walking one. He left with the lead but wound up with a no-decision.

Advice: Scott had a strange start. He had just one swing and miss and no strikeouts entering the fifth inning of this one. His sweeper was off and the Giants were attacking his fastball. Yet, he still earned a quality start while retiring the final 12 batters he faced and punched out four of the last six. It’s starts like these, when a young pitcher clearly isn’t at his best, that instills so much confidence in the young right-hander. Bear in mind, he allowed another home run in this one. His third in 22 ⅔ innings after giving up seven in 25 ⅓ innings at AAA. Rotoworld Yesterday, 7:25 pm
    • Kyle Harrison shaky in no-decision
Kyle Harrison allowed four earned runs across five innings on Friday against the Mets. He struck out six and walked two.

Advice: Harrison’s fastball was all over the place in this one and even hit Brandon Nimmo in the c-flap of his helmet. He still managed a fine outing despite plenty of traffic by the Mets and back-to-back home runs by J.D. Martinez and Mark Vientos. Harrison will take a 3.90 ERA into his next start against the streaking Phillies. Rotoworld Yesterday, 7:24 pm
    • Bo Bichette collects two hits in loss to Tigers
Bo Bichette went 2-for-4 with a pair of singles as the Blue Jays fell to the Tigers at Comerica Park.

Advice: The Jays weren’t able to get anything going against Kenta Maeda in the ballgame and didn’t push a run across until there were two outs in the ninth inning. The 26-year-old shortstop’s bat has perked up in recent weeks and he’s now hitting .249/.301/.359 with three homers, 20 RBI and four stolen bases on the year. Rotoworld Yesterday, 6:21 pm

    • Andrew Abbott has next start pushed back two days
Andrew Abbott will have his next scheduled start pushed back from Sunday to Tuesday.

Advice: It’s an encouraging development for fantasy managers, as he’ll now avoid the Dodgers and will instead do battle against the Cardinals at home. The Reds have yet to announce a starter for Sunday’s contest and may wind up utilizing their bullpen heavily in that one instead. Rotoworld Yesterday, 2:37 pm
