      Rays RHP prospect Shane Baz struck out six over three scoreless innings on Thursday for Triple-A Durham.

      Advice: Baz averaged 96.5 mph on his four-seam fastball, which generated seven swinging strikes in this one, and needed just 70 pitches to navigate three frames. He gave up four hits and also issued three walks. The 25-year-old top pitching prospect has recorded 24 strikeouts over his last three starts since June 8. It’s time.       The Marlins list Luzardo (back) as their probable pitcher for Saturday's game against the Mariners, Christina De Nicola of MLB.com reports.

      Advice: Luzardo pitched with some back stiffness in his last outing in Sunday's loss to the Nationals, getting pulled after five innings and 77 pitches while displaying decreased velocity.       Advice: Paredes supplied the only run off Twins starter Joe Ryan with his third-inning solo shot to left field. The long ball was his first of June and just his second over his past 25 contests.     • Blows save, picks up fifth win
      Kimbrel (5-2) earned the win and blew a save against the Yankees on Wednesday, allowing one run on two hits with a strikeout in the ninth inning.

      Advice: Kimbrel was called upon to protect a 5-4 lead in the ninth inning but allowed a leadoff double by Anthony Volpe and a game-tying single by Giancarlo Stanton. He was able to keep the game tied and the Yankees won in the 10th inning to earn Kimbrel the win. Until Wednesday, Kimbrel had not allowed an earned run since May 8 or blown a save since April 28.       Bello (7-4) earned the win against the Blue Jays on Wednesday, allowing two runs on seven hits and two walks with six strikeouts over six innings.

      Advice: Bello threw three scoreless innings before loading the bases in the fourth, but he managed to limit the damage to two runs and responded with two more scoreless frames before leaving the game with a 5-2 lead. This was Bello's first quality start since May 22 and his best performance in June, as he surrendered 14 total runs over his first three June outings.       Craig Kimbrel allowed one run on two hits on Wednesday. He struck out one, blew the save, but wound up grabbing the win.

      Isaac Paredes slugged his 11th home run of the season on Wednesday night, helping to power the Twins past the Rays in extra innings.

      Advice: Paredes opened the scoring in the contest with a 359-foot (95.5 mph EV) solo shot off of Joe Ryan that was pulled down the left field line. The 25-year-old slugger also singled and walked in the contest, finishing the night 2-for-3. On the season, he’s slashing a healthy .286/.368/.475 with the aforementioned 11 long balls and 39 RBI.     • Brayan Bello solid over six innings in win
      Brayan Bello punched out six Red Sox across six innings on Wednesday in a 7-3 win over the Blue Jays. He walked two and allowed two earned runs on his way to securing the victory.

      Advice: Bello showed a great approach in this one: leaning on his sinker and slider against right-handed batters while mixing those two with a heavy dose of changeups against lefties. He kept the ball on the edges and his velocity was up a tick across the board. The Blue Jays have made plenty of pitchers look great this season, but seeing Bello command his nasty arsenal is a welcome sight. Rotoworld Wednesday, 7:13 pm
