    • To hit injured list
Rodgers (left hamstring strain) will be placed on the 10-day injured list, Thomas Harding of MLB.com reports.

Advice: Rodgers was removed from Friday's game against the Cardinals after his hamstring tightened up while running out a hit. Further evaluation revealed that the second baseman has a strain in his left hamstring and will need an IL stint. Infielder Adael Amador will be called up from Double-A Hartford to fill Rodgers' spot on the active roster and should share second base duties with Alan Trejo. Rotowire.com 34 minutes ago

    • Up to 11 saves
Doval earned the save in Saturday's 3-1 win over Texas, working around a hit and a walk in a scoreless ninth inning.

Advice: Things got dicey for Doval in the ninth, as the Rangers got the tying runs into scoring position with two outs. However, the right-hander would coax a flyout off the bat of Leody Taveras to lock down his 11th save of the year and his second in as many days. The 26-year-old Doval lowered his ERA to 3.91 with a 1.58 WHIP and 31:18 K:BB across 25.1 innings this season. Rotowire.com 36 minutes ago
    • Gibson allows three in no-decision Saturday
Kyle Gibson allowed three runs in six innings and got a no-decision against the Rockies on Saturday.

Advice: Gibson gave up eight hits, walked two and struck out seven. He was in line for the win before the Rockies scored three runs against the Cardinals bullpen in the seventh inning. The Cardinals bullpen also cost him a win in his last start. Gibson has been consistently good lately as he’s allowed more than three runs in only one of his last 10 starts. The 36-year-old right-hander is set to face the Cubs on the road next week.

    • Blasts solo home run
Garver went 1-for-3 with a home run and a walk in Saturday's loss to the Royals.

Advice: The designated hitter took Alec Marsh deep in the fifth inning to tie up the score. It was Garver's seventh homer of the season and his second in his last three games. Garver has struggled to the tune of a .180/.292/.348 line thus far, but he may be starting to turn it around with eight RBI and four extra-base hits over his last six games. • Goes 4.2 innings again vs. Texas
Howard didn't factor into the decision Saturday against the Rangers, allowing one run on three hits and three walks over 4.2 innings. He struck out two.

Advice: Howard ran into some trouble in the first inning, walking the first two batters he faced before ultimately allowing a run on a sacrifice fly. While he'd hold the Rangers scoreless over his final 3.2 frames, Howard would wind up an out shy of qualifying for the win. The 27-year-old right-hander has yet to make it through five innings through his first three outings with the Giants this year, though he's allowed just three earned runs over 13.1 frames. Howard figures to remain in the rotation until Blake Snell (groin) is ready to return. He's currently lined up for a home matchup with the Angels in his next start. Rotowire.com 40 minutes ago
    • Diaz has two-hit game Saturday
Yandy Diaz went 2-for-4 against the Orioles on Saturday.

Advice: It was a quiet afternoon for the Rays as they were shutout. Diaz had the only two hits for Tampa Bay. After wining the batting title in the American League last year, he’s hitting just .245 so far this season. Diaz’ .273 BABIP this year is well below his .320 career BABIP. That doesn’t explain his lack of power this year as his .105 ISO is way down from his .192 ISO last season. Rotoworld 44 minutes ago

    • Christian Yelich plates two runs to lead Brewers
Christian Yelich went 2-for-4 and drove in a pair of runs on Saturday afternoon, propelling the Brewers to a 5-4 victory over the Tigers in Motown.

Advice: Yelich opened the scoring in the ballgame with an RBI single off of Casey Mize that plated Brice Turang in the first inning. He then drove in another run with a sacrifice fly in the fifth inning. Yelich also reached on an infield single in the fifth inning and swiped second base, but the Brewers couldn’t cash him in. With his two-hit attack, the dynamic 32-year-old outfielder is now hitting .333/.414/.532 with six homers, 29 RBI and 10 stolen bases in what has been an impressive all-around season. • Brice Turang swipes another bag in win over Tigers
Brice Turang went 2-for-4 with a stolen base and a pair of runs scored on Saturday afternoon as the Brewers eked out a one-run victory over the Tigers in Detroit.

Advice: Turang led off the game with a walk, advanced to second on a balk and raced around to score on an RBI single off the bat of Christian Yelich. He singled again in the third inning and ultimately scored on a ground ball off the bat of Willy Adames. The speedy 24-year-old then reached on an infield single in the fifth inning and swiped second base, but was ultimately stranded at third. He has been a catalyst atop the Brewers’ lineup this season — slashing a healthy .307/.371/.415 to go along with three homers, 23 RBI and 23 stolen bases. Rotoworld 45 minutes ago

    • Trevor Megill slams door on Tigers on Saturday
Trevor Megill slammed the door on the Tigers on Saturday afternoon, working a perfect ninth inning to protect a one-run lead.

Advice: The 30-year-old right-hander made it look awfully easy again in this one, getting Matt Vierling on a ground ball to shortstop, Riley Greene on a fly ball to right and Mark Canha on a fly ball to center to end it. He has been outstanding overall on the season, posting a 2.12 ERA and a 24/4 K/BB ratio over 17 innings while converting nine of his first 10 save chances. Rotoworld 45 minutes ago
