Hernandez (personal) is unavailable for Tuesday's game against the White Sox, Mike DiGiovanna of the Los Angeles Times reports.

Advice: Hernandez is currently tending to personal matters in the Dominican Republic and was initially expected to rejoin the team prior to Tuesday's contest. However, manager Dave Roberts gave Hernandez an extra day off. The 31-year-old outfielder could be back in the lineup Wednesday for the series finale. Rotowire.com Today, 12:54 pm

    • Teoscar Hernandez (personal) won’t play Tuesday
Teoscar Hernández (personal) will not play in Tuesday’s game against the White Sox.

Advice: Hernández was scheduled to fly back from the Dominican Republic to Chicago for Tuesday’s affair, but Dodgers manager Dave Roberts decided to give the 31-year-old another day off according to Mike DiGiovanna of the Los Angeles Times. It’s likely that Hernández will be back in the lineup Wednesday against the Pale Hose. Rotoworld Today, 12:45 pm

    • Effective again Monday
Paxton allowed three hits and three walks while striking out six batters over five scoreless innings in a no-decision against the White Sox on Monday.

Advice: Paxton needed 91 pitches to get through five frames, so he wasn't able to record a third straight quality start or hang around long enough for Los Angeles' offense to supply him a run. Nonetheless, the veteran left-hander was very effective, and he flashed some of the swing-and-miss stuff of his peak seasons with 18 whiffs. Since giving up a season-high seven runs (six earned) over 1.2 innings versus Pittsburgh in his first start of June, Paxton has surrendered just two runs across 18 frames over his subsequent three outings. The strikeout numbers have been improving too -- Paxton's two best punchout performances of the campaign have come in his past two starts. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 9:29 pm

    • Paxton tosses five scoreless in no-decision Monday
James Paxton allowed no runs in five innings and got a no-decision in the Dodgers’ 3-0 victory over the White Sox on Monday.

Advice: Paxton gave up three hits, walked three and struck out six. He had won his last two starts, but the Dodgers couldn’t score any runs to support him. It was still a good effort from Paxton, who lowered his ERA to 3.39 in the process. The 35-year-old left-hander is set to face the Giants on the road this weekend.

    • Teoscar Hernández misses game for personal reasons
Teoscar Hernández flew home to the Dominican Republic for personal reasons and won’t play Monday.

Advice: Hernández is expected back on Tuesday. His absence tonight gives Jason Heyward a rare start versus a lefty. Rotoworld Yesterday, 4:35 pm

    • Away from team Monday
Hernandez is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the White Sox while tending to a personal matter in the Dominican Republic, but he's expected to rejoin the Dodgers on Tuesday, Bill Plunkett of The Orange County Register reports.

Advice: The Dodgers will play a man short in Monday's game versus the White Sox as Hernandez exits the lineup for the first time in 2024 following a stretch of 79 consecutive starts to open the season. Hernandez should be back in the lineup Tuesday, but fantasy managers will want to confirm as much prior to the 8:10 p.m. ET opening pitch for the second game of the Dodgers' series in Chicago. • Sitting again amid slump
Freeman is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Orioles.

Advice: For the second time in three days, Freeman will hit the bench as the Guardians open up room in center field for Daniel Schneemann. Over his last 10 games, Freeman has gone 4-for-31 at the plate, and his June swoon could end up costing him his regular spot in the starting lineup. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 1:57 pm

    • Double, RBI in return
Stephenson started at catcher and went 1-for-4 with a double, an RBI and a run scored in Sunday's 7-4 loss to the Red Sox.

Advice: Stephenson was back in the starting lineup after being held out for two games with an undisclosed injury, although he did pinch hit Saturday. The Reds had called up catcher Austin Wynns on Friday, but Stephenson's injury was not serious, and Wynns was sent back to Triple-A Louisville on Sunday. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 5:41 am

    • Homer, steal in win
Lindor went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run, a hit-by-pitch and a stolen base in Sunday's 5-2 win over the Cubs.

Advice: Lindor opened the scoring with his third-inning blast. The shortstop has been showcasing all of his skills in June, going 21-for-76 (.276) with four homers, five steals and 10 RBI over 19 contests this month. It's a strong turnaround for the 30-year-old, who is slashing .241/.310/.433 with 13 homers, 39 RBI, 49 runs scored, 20 doubles and 13 steals through 76 games overall. Rotowire.com Sunday, 8:16 pm
