      Mookie Betts was removed from Sunday’s battle against the Royals after being hit in the left hand/wrist area by a 98 mph fastball.

      Advice: The 31-year-old superstar was in obvious pain afterwards and the Dodgers immediately made the call to replace him with pinch-runner Miguel Rojas. He’ll head for X-rays to see if there’s any structural damage. All fantasy managers can do now is wait and hope for the best. The Dodgers should have an update on his status shortly.     • Varsho hits grand slam for 11th home run Sunday
      Daulton Varsho went 2-for-4 with a grand slam against the Guardians on Sunday.



      Advice: The home run was Varsho’s 11th of the season. He could’ve had an even bigger game as he came up with the bases loaded again in the eighth inning, but he struck out. While he’s only hitting .220, he’s produced in the power categories with 11 home runs and 35 RBI. His .238 ISO is even higher than his .207 iSO in 2022 when he hit 27 home runs with the Diamondbacks.

    • Austin Riley heating up, homers again
      Austin Riley went 2-for-4 with a game-tying two-run home run and two runs scored on Sunday against the Rays.

      Advice: Congratulations to all the fantasy managers who kept their patience with Riley because the hot streak is officially here. He homered in every game this weekend and has raised his OPS from .618 to .695 since Friday. Rotoworld Today, 1:26 pm

      Advice: It’s Thomas’ third consecutive game with a home run. He now has seven total on the year. Thomas has been hot over his last 10 games going 10-for-37 (.351) to bring his season average to .238. He stole 11 bases in 22 games in April, but has just five steals in 20 games since.

      Advice: Rodon had posted a quality start in each outing during his seven-game winning streak, but both impressive stretches were snapped Saturday. The Red Sox put up all five runs against Rodon during the first two innings, and the Yankees' offense wasn't able to muster a comeback. The southpaw still has a strong 3.28 ERA with a 1.11 WHIP and 81:23 K:BB through 85 innings over 15 starts this year.       Jansen pitched 1.1 perfect innings to earn the save in Saturday's 8-4 win over the Yankees.

      Advice: Greg Weissert was shaky in the eighth inning, but Jansen was able to get the last out of the frame with runners on the corners. The Red Sox added some insurance in the bottom of the eighth, and Jansen slammed the door in the ninth. The right-hander is up to 11 saves this season, though he has picked up just two of them over four appearances in June.       Advice: Riley broke the game open in the seventh frame with his three-run shot to center field that gave Atlanta an 8-1 lead. It was the second straight contest with a long ball for the third baseman following a 23-game homerless stretch (and a 45-game span during which he went deep only once). Riley may finally be getting his power on track, but with just five long balls through 233 plate appearances, he'll be hard-pressed to reach 30 homers for the fourth straight season. He got Anthony Volpe to fly out to right field to end the threat — then returned to work a perfect ninth inning to close it out.
