    • Collects steal No. 10
Abrams went 1-for-5 with a double, three RBI and a stolen base in Sunday's win over Atlanta.

Advice: The shortstop came through with one of the big blows in a seven-run fourth inning for the Nationals, smashing a bases-loaded double into the right-field corner, and Abrams then promptly stole third base. The two-bagger was his 12th of the season while the steal was his 10th, and Abrams might be coming out of his prolonged slump -- he's hit safely in four straight games and five of the last six with three extra-base hits (two doubles and a homer), two steals, three runs and five RBI. • Notches seventh steal
Varsho went 1-for-3 with two runs scored and a stolen base in Sunday's extra-inning win over the A's.

Advice: The 27-year-old outfielder has stolen bags in back-to-back games, giving him seven steals on the year. Varsho keeps finding ways to be productive, and through nine games in June he's batting .296 (8-for-27) with three doubles, two triples and six runs scored. Rotowire.com Today, 6:49 am

    • Nails six-out win
Jansen (2-1) picked up the win Sunday against the White Sox, allowing one hit and no walks with five strikeouts over two innings.

Advice: Jansen had made just one appearance since May 26, and the Red Sox made use of his fresh arm Sunday, bringing him in for the eighth and ninth innings with Boston trailing by one. The closer went more than one inning for the first time this season and set a career high in strikeouts, surpassing three Ks for the first time since 2017. Jansen is 9-of-10 in save chances and owns a 2.61 ERA on the campaign. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 5:05 pm
    • Daulton Varsho scores twice as Jays defeat A’s
Daulton Varsho singled, was hit by a pitch, stole a base and scored a pair of runs on Sunday as the Blue Jays rallied to defeat the Athletics in extra innings.

Advice: Varsho led off the eighth inning with a single, was sacrificed to second base, swiped third and then scored the game’s tying run on a sacrifice fly off the bat of Davis Schneider. He was then hit by a pitch to load the bases in the 10th inning and raced home on Isiah Kiner-Falefa’s bases-clearing double. For the season, the dynamic 27-year-old outfielder is slashing .217/.306/.453 with 10 homers, 31 RBI and seven stolen bases. Rotoworld Yesterday, 3:46 pm

    • Blows second save
Alvarado (1-3) suffered the loss Sunday, allowing three runs (two earned) on two hits and two walks over two-thirds of an inning against the Mets. He struck out two.

Advice: Alvarado entered the game with a one-run lead looking to preserve his 12th save, but things went downhill quickly. After allowing a walk and a single to start the inning, an infield single by Mark Vientos tied the game. Then with the bases loaded and one out, a hit-by-pitch followed by a passed ball allowed two more runners to score, saddling Alvarado with his second blown save and third loss of the season. Sunday's outing came on the heels of five consecutive scoreless appearances since his last blown save, which came May 24 in Colorado. The outing lifted Alvarado's ERA to 3.54 with a 1.14 WHIP and 31 strikeouts through 28 innings this season. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 2:59 pm

    • Victorious once more
Rodriguez (7-2) picked up the win Sunday against Tampa Bay, allowing two runs on two hits and one walk across 5.2 innings. He struck out six.

Advice: Rodriguez retired the first 15 batters he faced Sunday but got into trouble during the sixth before exiting. After walking the leadoff batter in the sixth, Rodriguez generated a strikeout and a lineout but got the hook after allowing back-to-back singles. Still responsible for runners on first and third, Rodriguez was charged with a second earned run when Randy Arozarena hit an RBI single off Dillon Tate. Rodriguez has earned seven wins in 11 starts this season, owning a 3.21 ERA with a 10.1 K/9. He's on track to make his next start during a home series against the Phillies next weekend. • Abrams has steal, three RBI in win over Braves
CJ Abrams went 1-for-5 with three RBI and a steal in a win over the Braves.

Advice: Abrams drove in all three runs on a double off Aaron Bummer in the fourth inning that broke the game wide open for the Nationals. He also had two hard-hit balls that both resulted in outs. The 23-year-old has had a rough go of it over the last month, going 28-for-136 (.206) since the calendar flipped to May with a 35:2 K:BB rate in 33 games. Abrams has a ton of talent with 10 home runs and 10 steals already on the season. He’s also still striking out just 21 percent of the time on the season, so strikeouts haven’t been a major issue. He has pulled the ball far less since April and hit the ball on the ground more often, so perhaps he needs to adjust to the way pitchers have adapted to his hot start. Rotoworld Yesterday, 2:17 pm

    • Grayson Rodriguez tires in 6th in win over Rays
Grayson Rodriguez allowed two runs on two hits in 5 2/3 in a win over the Rays on Sunday.

Advice: Rodriguez struck out six and walked one on the day while posting a 33 percent whiff rate and 32 percent CSW. It was a solid day overall for the 24-year-old who tired with two outs in the sixth inning. Rodriguez walked the first batter of the sixth before getting two quick outs. However, he would then allow two straight hits to score a run and had another run come in to score off a reliever. Rodriguez remains one of the most talented young pitchers in the game and will carry a 3.27 ERA into a tough matchup against the Phillies next week. Rotoworld Yesterday, 1:38 pm

    • Start pushed to Friday
Reds manager David Bell said Sunday that Greene's next start will be pushed to Friday against the Brewers, Charlie Goldsmith of The Cincinnati Enquirer reports.

Advice: The right-hander was previously expected to start Tuesday versus Cleveland, but he'll get a bit of extra rest this week after throwing 111 pitches in each of his past two starts. Greene gave up nine earned runs in those outings but has a 3.61 ERA, 1.15 WHIP and 84:32 K:BB over 77.1 innings this season. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 11:24 am
