      Heliot Ramos blasted a three-run homer on Thursday in the Giants’ loss to the Cardinals at Rickwood Field in Birmingham, Alabama.

      Advice: Ramos put San Francisco on the board with a no-doubter to right field in the third inning off Cardinals starter Andre Pallante for his 10th round-tripper of the season.       Advice: Helsley was summoned to protect a narrow one-run lead at historic Rickwood Field in Birmingham, Alabama and made things interesting by issuing a leadoff walk to Trenton Brooks and surrendering a two-out single to Patrick Bailey, which put the potential tying run in scoring position. He managed to wriggle out of the jam by striking out Matt Chapman to extinguish the threat. The hard-throwing 29-year-old righty has converted 25 of 26 save chances this season to go along with a sparkling 2.45 ERA, 1.18 WHIP and 38/13 K/BB ratio across 33 innings (33 appearances).       CJ Abrams is day-to-day after an MRI this week revealed a Ganglion cyst on his left palm near his wrist.

      Advice: Nationals manager Dave Martinez told reporters Thursday that it isn’t a serious concern. We’re not medical professionals, but a Ganglion cyst is basically a non-cancerous lump that appears along the joints of the wrists or hands. It doesn’t sound like a serious concern moving forward as the issue mighty simply go away on its own, but it’s something Abrams will have to manage going forward.
