    • Crochet records 11 strikeouts in no-decision
Garrett Crochet allowed two runs in seven innings and got a no-decision against the Rockies on Sunday.

Advice: Crochet gave up five hits, walked none and struck out 11. He was excellent once again. Both runs Crochet allowed came in the second inning when the Rockies scored on a balk and a sacrifice fly. Otherwise, he dominated with 11 strikeouts and now has a 3.02 ERA on the season. Crochet continues to make his case for the American League Cy Young award. In his last 11 starts, he has a 1.48 ERA, 0.84 WHIP and 94 strikeouts in 66 2/3 innings. The 25-year-old left-hander is set to face the Marlins on the road next weekend.

    • Optioned to Triple-A
Hernandez was optioned to Triple-A Gwinnett following Sunday's 4-2 loss to the Pirates.

Advice: Hernandez was called up June 17, tossing 6.2 scoreless innings while striking out nine batters over six appearances out of Atlanta's bullpen. The right-hander will now head back to Gwinnett, but he'll certainly get another shot with the big-league club down the road this season. Rotowire.com Today, 2:37 pm
    • Sent to Triple-A
The Rangers optioned Burke to Triple-A Round Rock on Sunday, Evan Grant of The Dallas Morning News reports.

Advice: The left-hander gave up three runs in his past two outings and will head to Triple-A in order to make room for infielder Jonathan Ornelas, who was called up Sunday. Burke has struggled to a 7.45 ERA and 11:6 K:BB in 10 outings for Texas this season. Rotowire.com Today, 2:18 pm

    • Picks up 16th save
Jansen earned the save Sunday against San Diego, striking out one batter during a perfect ninth inning.

Advice: Jansen was lights out Sunday, and he has now converted on 12 straight save chances. It was his seventh straight appearance without allowing a run. He's been fantastic as of late, with a 0.70 ERA over his last 12 appearances. The 36-year-old has converted on 16 of 17 save chances this season and will carry a 2.22 ERA and 1.02 WHIP into July. • Jeff Hoffman grabs sixth save
Jeff Hoffman struck out one in a scoreless ninth inning on Sunday against the Marlins.

Advice: Hoffman worked around a throwing error from Trea Turner to secure this save. While possibly the best Phillie reliever, José Alvarado has grabbed most of the saves. He pitched on Saturday opening the door for Hoffman. He and the rest of this stellar bullpen were instrumental in the team’s huge comeback victory. Rotoworld Today, 2:00 pm

    • Yonny Chirinos can’t get out of fifth inning
Yonny Chirinos allowed three earned runs across 4 1/3 innings of work on Sunday. He struck out four, walked one, and the Phillies had nine hits.

Advice: Given a large lead early, Chirinos could not get through this injury-ravaged Phillies lineup. They made lots of hard contact and ignited their huge comeback before he was chased from this game. Chirinos is unexciting filler in the Marlins’ decimated rotation. Rotoworld Today, 1:59 pm

    • Helsley tosses scoreless ninth for 30th save
Ryan Helsley pitched a scoreless ninth inning and picked up the save against the Reds on Sunday.

Advice: Hensley’s save was his 30th and he recorded two strikeouts in the process. His ERA is 2.61 on the season. Helsley’s well on his way to a 40-save season and anything beyond that would just be a monster year for fantasy. Rotoworld Today, 1:57 pm

    • Hendricks gives up seven runs in loss to Brewers
Kyle Hendricks allowed seven runs in 3 2/3 innings and took the loss against the Brewers on Sunday.

Advice: Hendricks gave up seven hits, walked one and struck out three. Hendricks cruised through the first three innings without allowing a run and then couldn’t make it out of the fourth inning. He gave up a two-run home run to Christian Yelich and an RBI single to Sal Frelick before the Brice Turang grand slam with two outs chased him from the game. Hendricks’ ERA is 7.48 and he’s won only one of his 10 starts for the Cubs. He’s too hittable at this point of his career to be usable in fantasy. The 34-year-old right-hander is set to face the Angels at home next weekend.

    • Josh Winckowski goes five scoreless for victory
Josh Winckowski blanked the Padres for five innings to pick a victory in his start Sunday.

Advice: It’s his first win in nine starts dating back to Aug. 5, 2022. Winckowski generated quite a bit of soft contact today, which was important since he had just three missed swings and one strikeout. Interestingly, all three missed swings came on the slider that he threw just seven times in the 58-pitch outing. Winckowski should stay in the rotation for now, but he has a very tough matchup coming up against the Yankees in New York. Rotoworld Today, 1:38 pm
