Stone (7-2) earned the win over the Yankees on Saturday, allowing two runs on eight hits and two walks while striking out six batters over 5.2 innings.

Advice: It looked like Stone could be in for a rough outing when he allowed a single to each of the first two batters he faced in the first inning, but he recovered to retire Aaron Judge, Giancarlo Stanton and Anthony Rizzo without allowing a run to score. The right-hander allowed New York to plate one run in each of the following two frames, but he was able to navigate through 5.2 innings with just those two runs on his ledger. Stone needed some help when he departed with two outs and the bases full of Yankees in the sixth, and Alex Vesia provided that assistance by getting Anthony Volpe to fly out to end the threat. Stone has recorded a victory in seven of his past 10 starts and has given up more than two runs just once during that span. He's shining in his first full big-league season, recording a 2.93 ERA, 1.24 WHIP and 53:21 K:BB through 67.2 innings. Rotowire.com 42 minutes ago

    • Gavin Stone holds Yankees to two runs in victory
Gavin Stone limited the Yankees to just two runs over 5 1/3 innings to get a win Saturday.

Advice: Things didn’t start particularly well for Stone, as he gave up a run in the second and then a solo homer in the third. After that, the 25-year-old held the Yankees off the board while picking up his seventh win of the season. He allowed eight hits, but he also struck out six while seeing his ERA bump up slightly to 2.93. Stone is another example of players who struggle in the first go-around who provide fantasy relevance. He gets the Royals next week, barring a change in the rotation order. Rotoworld Today, 10:04 pm

    • Limits Rays to one hit
Bradish (2-0) earned the win over Tampa Bay on Saturday, allowing one hit and no walks while striking out nine batters over six scoreless innings.

Advice: Bradish was given two extra days of rest after struggling against the Rays in his previous start, and the extra time off proved to be a remedy to getting him back on the track. The right-hander allowed an infield single to the first batter he faced in the outing, then retired the final 18 hitters to step up to the plate against him. Bradish is still easing his way back after missing the first month of the campaign due to an elbow injury, which explains why he was pulled after just 88 pitches, but that was enough for him to pick up both his second win and second quality start. If he returns to pitching on a regular five-day schedule, Bradish is next lined up for a tough road matchup against Atlanta. Rotowire.com Today, 5:48 pm
    • Throws on flat ground, bullpen next
Gallen (hamstring) threw a flat-ground session Saturday and is expected to throw a bullpen soon, Jesse Friedman of GoPHNX.com reports.

Advice: Gallen was cleared for throwing June 3 and was able to complete a flat-ground session Saturday. The next box for Gallen to check in his recovery from a right hamstring strain would be a bullpen, which should occur in the coming days. Gallen will be eligible to return from the injured list June 15, though it's unclear if he'll be ready by then. Rotowire.com Today, 5:18 pm

    • Zac Gallen (hamstring) throws off of flat ground
Zac Gallen (hamstring) threw off of flat ground without any issues on Saturday.

Advice: As long as he rebounds fine from that session, he’ll be cleared to throw a bullpen session. Gallen has been shelved since May 31 due to a Grade 1 right hamstring strain. It remains unclear if he’ll require a minor league rehab start or not before rejoining the Diamondbacks’ rotation. Rotoworld Today, 5:04 pm

    • Bradish dominates the Rays for six innings
Kyle Bradish threw six shutout innings and got the win in the Orioles’ 5-0 victory over the Rays on Saturday.

Advice: Bradish gave up one hit, walked none and struck out nine. He was outstanding as he bounced back from a rough last start. Bradish recorded 14 whiffs and had a 34 percent CSW. He’s now won two of his last three starts. If Bradish can stay healthy for the rest of the year, he’ll be one of the best pitchers in fantasy. The 27-year-old right-hander is set to face the Braves at home next week. Rotoworld Today, 4:09 pm
    • Rebounds vs. Atlanta
Gore (5-5) earned the win Saturday over Atlanta, allowing two runs on six hits and a walk over five innings. He struck out seven.

Advice: Gore delivered four shutout innings before he was ultimately charged with a run in each of the fifth and sixth innings. While he failed to make it through six innings for a third straight outing, it was a solid rebound effort from Gore after he was tagged for six runs in just 4.1 innings in his last start against the Mets. Overall, the 25-year-old southpaw sports a 3.57 ERA with a 1.37 WHIP and 81:22 K:BB across 68 innings this year. Gore's currently scheduled to face the Marlins at home in his next start. • Takes loss versus Royals
Castillo (5-7) took the loss to the Royals on Saturday, allowing five runs on six hits and one walk while striking out four over five innings.

Advice: Castillo had a tough outing as he gave up a season-high five runs in his seventh loss of the season. His offense gave him the lead two separate times Saturday, but he gave it back each time as he snapped a streak of 10 straight starts allowing two earned runs or fewer. Castillo remains one of the more consistent and durable starters in baseball, he's gone at least five innings in all of his 14 starts and will take a 3.35 ERA into his next outing. • MacKenzie Gore fans seven in win over Braves
MacKenzie Gore allowed two runs with seven strikeouts over five innings in a win over the Braves on Saturday.

Advice: Gore escaped a bases loaded jam in the first inning and worked four scoreless frames before the Braves brought a run across to score in the fifth. Gore started the sixth inning but was pulled after giving up a pair of base hits. One inherited runner would come in to score. The 25-year-old left hander struck out seven on an impressive 19 whiffs. He’ll take a 3.44 ERA, 1.37 WHIP, and an 81/22 K/BB ratio across 68 innings into a home start against the Marlins on Friday. Rotoworld Today, 3:41 pm
