    • Royce Lewis (groin) heading for MRI exam
      Royce Lewis will undergo an MRI exam on his injured groin on Wednesday and there’s concern that he’ll wind up back on the injured list.

      Advice: The 25-year-old superstar third baseman was pulled from Tuesday’s battle against the Tigers due to left groin tightness. When asked about his status after the game, a dejected Lewis told reporters that “I have no idea. But probably not very optimistic, to be honest with you. I’m praying, but it’s usually always horrible news. So we’ll see.” All fantasy managers can do now is wait and hope for the best.       Shohei Ohtani clobbered his 27th home run of the season on Tuesday night as the Dodgers rallied to defeat the Diamondbacks.

      Advice: Ohtani led off the home half of the first inning with a double and scored the game’s first run on an RBI double off the bat of Teoscar Hernandez. He then flipped the game in the Dodgers’ favor with a mammoth 433-foot (112.0 mph EV) two-run shot off of Justin Martinez in the seventh inning that made it a 4-3 ballgame.       Advice: Ohtani was a triple shy of the cycle in another impressive game from atop the order. Over his last 20 games, the superstar has slugged 12 homers and driven in 23 runs while batting .351 (26-for-74). He's been outstanding all year and seems to be getting better with his recent performance.       Craig Kimbrel slammed the door on the Mariners on Tuesday night, retiring all three hitters that he faced in the ninth inning to preserve a two-run advantage.

      Advice: It wasn’t the smoothest of innings for Kimbrel, as he plunked Luke Raley to start the frame and also hit Jorge Polanco with one out in the inning, but he rebounded to get Dominic Canzone on a ground out to first and Julio Rodriguez on strikes to end it. Aside from a small blip early in the season, Kimbrel has been exceptional in the ninth inning for the Orioles this season.       Jhoan Duran pitched a perfect ninth inning to earn the save on Tuesday against the Tigers.

      Advice: Duran now has 13 saves on the season, as he lowered his WHIP in the year to 0.98 thanks to a solid frame against the Tigers, in which he struck out one batter.       Advice: Gorman’s home run was a 415-foot shot for his 17th of the season to go along with 41 RBIs. However, he also struck out twice and came into today with a 36.5 percent strikeout rate. In his last 35 games, Gorman is hitting just .177/.241/.411 with a 36.5 percent strikeout rate. However, he also has 10 home runs and five steals over that span, so if you are not in a batting average league or are punting the category, you can likely still roster Gorman.
